US-American transgender high school student, what are my options?

IMO your potentially biggest barrier to school may be the fees and living expenses you will need to show. You'll need to have savings of $30k+ just to get the study permit approved and cover first year tuition and living expenses. I'm assuming you don't have these funds yourself. Have your...

    Outland spousal PR sponsorship

No good. Won't work. You have to continue living in Canada while the application is being processed and until a decision is made. If you aren't ready to make a permanent move to Canada then you aren't going to be in a position to sponsor your spouse for PR. You'll need to wait until you...

    Outland spousal PR sponsorship

You cannot sponsor your spouse until after you have moved to Canada to live here permanently. There are no nuances for residency for sponsors. You have to be physically living in Canada to qualify to sponsor.

No. You need to appeal the decision and/or request reconsideration.

Commuting to Detroit with expired PR Card

Have you submitted the application to renew your PR card and are you in compliance with the residency obligation? If so, no issues. If you happen not to be in compliance with the residency obligation, then this will be very risky. Each time you re-enter Canada there will be a chance CBSA may...

    Question regarding Procedural Fairness letter

One of the requirements of the program is that you have enough money to support yourself. If you are receiving money regularly from your parents, this would indicate you don't meet this requirement. It doesn't matter that the money is a gift and they don't expect it back. The issue is that you...

    Question regarding Procedural Fairness letter

How long ago did you start the part time job? Have you stopped receiving money from your parents? I would resend the evidence of your part time employment, including an employment letter and pay stubs. I would also provide a copy of your recent bank account statements showing the last time you...

H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

He is not banned however it may be more difficult for him to return in the future as a visitor. This will not impact a PR application.

I'm very sorry to hear about your sibling's illness. 1) That's going to be very difficult for any of us to guess. If your parents are deceased and there are no immediate family members in your home country, that will help. But overall hard to say. 2) I don't think it's possible to get health...

    passport back after positive NOD

I'm not aware this is possible but quite possible I may be wrong about this. I know it's possible to ask for photocopies of your passport.

    passport back after positive NOD

This individual used their passport to travel to their COP. To the best of my knowledge, we have yet to see a case where passport renewal and using that passport to travel to counties other than the COP resulted in cessation. Cessation cases have consistently involved travel to the COP.

    SOWP refused.

If you haven't already, order your GCMS notes to see the full details of the refusal. Ultimately it may end up being challenging to get the SOWP and study permits approved. What country are you from? How much did you show in funds? What evidence of home ties did your spouse show?

    spouse and son sponsorship

I'll help with two questions. 1. This is a standard step with all applications. 2. Yes, as long as your spouse has valid status in Canada.

    passport back after positive NOD

No. You won't be able to get your passport back until PR.

PGPW Expiring in Oct 2025 wanting to apply for Spousal sponsorship- how to maintain status

    1) this will result in your application being returned 2) do you qualify under c10? If so then could be doable. But you can't withdraw the c10 since that will land you out of status.
