@BB802 & @Deb214, I am at the same point as you both. Received SA and the letter requesting more proof of relationship & cohabitation on September 17th. Uploaded all docs to GC Key that day. It's only been a few days, but I am was hoping I'd hear back this week...maybe early next...but now not...

Did you check your GC Key, does it say that your BGC has started? That's how I found out mine had, they didn't send me a notification. Good luck and stay patient, I know it's hard!

    ***NOVEMBER 2019 INLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP***

I'm in a similar situation (late October applicant). I received SA but was also asked on the same day to submit additional documents to prove relationship and cohabitation. To answer your question, yes your application is delayed but probably NOT because of the method you used to submit your...

AIP and SA are towards the end of the PR application process, so yes, if you receive either one you're in the home stretch. After AIP and SA, many people are contacted by IRCC via email confirming their location (inside or outside of Canada) and mailing address for PR card. If you get this...

    Spousal sponsorship

Either through your GC Key account: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account.html You must have your application/s linked to set up a GC Key account, i.e. you have to have received AOR on a PR application in order to link Or ECAS (Electronic...

    Spousal sponsorship

It will say in your checklist which documents have to be originals, and which can just be photocopies (It varies by country, which is why I can't give you an exact answer).

Also, @roney_usask, just reply that you are at the same address. No need to upload more proof of address.

Dates and milestones (except for Medical Passed) are not listed anywhere in this particular format, per se. It is information you can find in your GC Key and from your own personal records of when you've submitted things and received feedback or requests from IRCC. Also see the Google Docs...

Now that we received COPR, what are the next steps? I got an email from CIC Etobicoke to confirm if we both live in Canada and ask us to send passport/utility bills and please reply to the email but i never got a reply back on what to do... Also, how do we go ahead and apply for Health card and...

****August 2019 - Inland Spousal PR + OWP****

Wait, you have to fill out an application to receive the PR card? It's not just sent to you after you've sent in your printed COPR letter and 2 new photos?

    ****OCTOBER 2019 Inland Spousal Sponsorship****

I believe that once you send the photos in, then you just have to wait for the PR card (which are taking 3, 4 months). Note that you cannot travel outside of Canada and expect to be let back in with only a COPR letter. You must wait for the card or apply for a Permanent Resident Travel Document...

    ****OCTOBER 2019 Inland Spousal Sponsorship****

I believe @Amy23 said that DM takes a couple of days after SA/AIP, and COPR a few days after that. Hopefully you should see more movement next week.

    ****OCTOBER 2019 Inland Spousal Sponsorship****

Yes, several of us October (and September) Inland applicants received this request towards the end of the application process. My guess is because they are not currently holding in-person interviews. It is probably up to the discretion of you IRCC case agent, as well.

IRCC's term "Eligibility in progress," and "Review of eligibility" is very misleading, to me. It is not really something that is ongoing throughout the life of the application process, as the name would imply, but it is an actual step. Once your medicals have passed and background check is...

I think they need to review my proof of relationship and cohabitation documents first though, right? I JUST transmitted those over. 22 MB file that I had to compress to <4 MB. Yikes! LOL. Anyway, I am hoping I get approval on them next week.

    ****OCTOBER 2019 Inland Spousal Sponsorship****

I think AOR is taking 5+ months. March applicants were just receiving AOR in August, from what I saw around here. They were probably the first month of brand new applications to really get sidetracked by COVID delays. COVID took what was already a 2 month process (AOR) and added an additional 3...
