Understanding PNP, its obligation to live in province and PR Status

@legalfalcon how does “intent to settle” affect someone with PR status obtained via PNP but with a job offer from a US company that pays significantly higher (+ $40k CAD/year) which is a remote position where the employee works from within the nominating Canadian province and continues to...

1st portal email - How long after application is approved? Waiting for 50+ days

Automated email is normal. I also got one when I sent the email, and after a few more days I got an actual reply from an IRCC agent.

1st portal email - How long after application is approved? Waiting for 50+ days

Yes, send an email. My status was "Decision Made" until the eCoPR was issued or even slightly later, then it changed to "Complete".

You can send the information they request in the first portal email proactively. See here: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/1st-portal-email-how-long-after-application-is-approved-waiting-for-50-days.741912/page-21#post-9749937

    Security blank - s21 - s15 GCMS notes

IRCC always redacts the Security section. The section of the act you quoted is standard when you make a request for your file and nothing to worry about.

1st portal email - How long after application is approved? Waiting for 50+ days

The automated reply is normal. I got one too and then a few days later I got a real response. The auto-reply is triggered every time they receive an email, it doesn't mean that nobody reads it. That being said, you may want to try ircc.clientportalprairies-prairiesclientportail.ircc@cic.gc.ca...

Please help me out, my gcms notes says application approved in 23 august but still no portal request or call from ircc

I (and many others) had the same issue late last year. Follow what I did in this post https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/1st-portal-email-how-long-after-application-is-approved-waiting-for-50-days.741912/post-9749937 and also send the same email to...

PR card timeline (Etobicoke office only)

Loooolll...IRCC are weird. I saw on Reddit there's a guy who got his PR card, all his details on the card are correct but the picture is of someone else. How does that even happen o_O Glad you got your card! Congrats!

PR card timeline (Etobicoke office only)

Out of the 20 times I called IRCC I got one single agent that was nice enough to look up my file. All other agents hid behind Afghanistan/Covid and refused to provide any info whatsoever.

PR Card Timeline (Through Online Portal after ECOPR)

It's IRCC Calgary. Same as other IRCC offices they handle virtual landings and (probably largely thanks to this forum :p) backlogs produced by other slower IRCC offices like Etobicoke or Ottawa

    New PR confirmation portal

FYI 50x70mm @ 600dpi translates to 1181*1654 pixels. My own PR Card photo was saved at 300dpi so the resolution was only 591*827 pixels but the photo was still approved and the card printed (this was before they introduced all those pixel checker and brightness checker tools they have now)...
