Simultaneously Possess US and BC Driving Licenses?

Again, I challenge this notion. I had to return to the US many times over the last few months to handle family situations and never once have I encountered issues with having a Canadian driver's licence. I've used it to buy alcohol, rent a car, rent a hotel room, etc. Never once has it been...

Simultaneously Possess US and BC Driving Licenses?

US Citizens can vote in US elections while living outside of the US. It's perfectly legal.

Simultaneously Possess US and BC Driving Licenses?

You cannot have both. When you go to obtain a BC licence, they keep your USA licence. You do not need your US driver's licence to absentee vote in the US; if you live in Canada, thus voting from outside the USA, states are well aware you will not have a US licence. To say the US does not...

    INTERAC e-Transfer | I don't like it.

The point foodie69 is trying to make is, there are a lot of women on this forum. Constantly assuming the person you're interacting with is a "sir" or "he" can be insulting.

    INTERAC e-Transfer | I don't like it.

If you never accept it, after a certain period of time it goes back to the sender. Though if someone sent you money, they have to know the phone number or email account, indicating you likely know the person. You can always tell them to cancel it.

Sensitive questions worst scenario ( for info only)

Identify theft is not exactly what I would consider a "daily life situation." My advice is to stop thinking and trying to plan for the worse-case scenarios that are probably never going to happen to you.

U.S. citizen trying to move to Canada

You can visit on your US passport for 6 months at a time. BUT, I imagine eventually border officers will start to question you. If you're living in Canada and working in the US, they could always refuse you entry based on suspicion you may be working illegally in Canada. There are also other...

    same sex couple express Entry?

If you live together, do you have a lease agreement showing both of your names? Utility bills? Anything of that nature? Like someone said above, you definitely meet the common law definition, and given the situation I do wonder if even a years worth of proof you both received mail at the same...

RBC refused to issue a Credit Card | refugee with PR

I agree with this. I opened an account with RBC and when I landed and requested a credit card, the guy at the bank specifically told me they were allowed to offer me an unsecured card because I became a PR through the FSW stream (indicating educated and they assumed I could find a job in my...

Anything relating to entering Canada (via visa, PR card, etc) is outside of US Custom's jurisdiction. The Canadian visa should still be valid.
