    Getting PR with Criminal History

Although his case was dismissed (i.e., not convicted), he might need to disclose the arrest on the statutory question, which may slow the application process (since the IRCC can request more information). ,You might want to gather the official documents as proof just in case...

Missing LoE AFTER application submission (despite upload)

They had it. If you can see it in your checklist on my CIC after refreshing the page several times, you should be fine. It seems that the agent cannot see the file name, which is why s/he replied that the file wasn't received.

I see, and by "explaining this", do you mean I can state how fare evasion is punished in NY in my response? Also, would you recommend that I get the disposition? (even though it can only prove that I paid the fine in full, which I can already do using my credit card statement.) Thank you.

Hi @legalfalcon Thank you. It happened in New York. From what I know, fare evasion can be punished either by civil penalty (fine of $100) or a class A misdemeanor in NY. I received the former, which was handled by the transit bureau (not even the civil court). My FBI PCC has no criminal record...

    Thank you >>>>>>>>> Legalfalcon <<<<<<<<<<<

Hi @legalfalcon I got a civil transit violation ticket previously, and was stopped for a few minutes on the street to receive that ticket. In my e-APR, I answered YES to the statutory question of "Has XXX been detained, incarcerated or put in jail?", because I was not sure about the definition...

Hi @legalfalcon , I ordered my GCMS notes a few weeks ago via Get GCMS. Does applying for GCMS notes cause ghost update? Thanks!

From what I know, this response means the security verification has not been initiated "inside the IRCC", but the external agencies may already work on it after the eligibility is passed. IRCC has to wait for the report in order to do the review/verification, which probably wouldn't take too...

    Noc 4012, counting work experience

I didn't talk about the salary you earned by working 8 hours, but the funding you received by working another 8 hours. You should read the response carefully.

    Noc 4012, counting work experience

If you had to work for 8 hours in order to receive that funding, then you did get paid for doing the work, which should count.

    Part-time work experience is absolutely accepted. For FSW, you will get points for 1-year experience by working 1560 hours continuously, which can be: (1) 30 hours/week x 52 weeks (2) 15 hours/week x 104 weeks (3) 10 hours/week x 156 weeks (4) etc.

Thanks, @legalfalcon So "eligibility assessment is currently valid" isn't the same as "eligibility is met/passed"?

Hi @legalfalcon An agent replied to me after I raised a CSE asking about the application status, and she wrote that the eligibility assessment is currently valid, while both criminality and security verifications have not initiated yet. The file is now at CPC-O. I was wondering what "currently...

That's interesting. I got the RPRF on January 14th. Perhaps it was triggered by the move to cpc-o? However before the RPRF, my country of residence wasn't USA. For what it's worth, my CSE response said the eligibility assessment is currently valid (not sure what that means), and the rest has not...

Missing LoE AFTER application submission (despite upload)

I had the same problem, and like many people did, the loe/client information appears after refreshing the page several times. However, I still raised a cse, and the agent told me they didn't receive the loe... what is going on?!

I raised a cse three days ago and just got a response: VO: Ottawa Eligibility: currently valid Security & criminality: not initiated Regarding the eligibility, the exact words are: The eligibility assessment is currently valid. What does that mean? I somehow think it implies that the...
