Most likely the ghost update means your card got sent for production and you should get it approved on gc key in 1-2 weeks. Congrats

It took roughly 2 months from ecopr until i got the approval in gc key

Got my PR card in the mail today! (Took 4 days to mail since I got the approval in GC Key) This journey has come to an end for me and this group has been nothing but supportive :) For those waiting, you'll get there soon enough!

Well, if you linked your pr card application to gc key, the chances of you seeing updates on pr portal are low. My pr portal has yet to be updated despite having my pr card approved and mailed. Others have also stated they never had their pr portal updated. You'll see ghost updates on gc key...

I got the update on Jan 26! I only saw the ghost update when I logged in to GC Key account. Never got an email. Just checked a second ago and MY CARD WAS APPROVED AND MAILED!!

We have similar timelines! I got my eCOPR on Dec 9 also from OSC and I received a ghost update last week. I was thinking it meant my card got sent to production seeing that my pr portal has not had any changes (i think sent to productions means they sent the information to the Sydney, NS visa...

1. You can leave Canada with or without eCOPR like you normally would... the eCOPR just wont allow you to get back in if you're travelling by air 2. No - all your temporary permits and visas become invalidated once you receive eCOPR since you will be a PR. 3. You can reenter the land border...

Varies alot! Some people in a few days while others a few months. Average processing time is around 2-2.5 months

All PR cards are processed at the Sydney, NS office. The timeline on the IRCC website is 2 months.. I've been waiting 1 month so far for pr card. VO is Ottawa

You'll get the eCOPR before the address and photo get updated. Some people actually never get an update about address and photo from what I've seen in the this thread and they only get notified when pr card has been approved and mailed.

It means that you'll get to download your eCOPR soon!

You can book an appointment for OHIP online and carry your COPR and other docs - no need to have SIN for it. They're not doing walk-ins.
