Did you already get AIP or medical request ?

I think so. Most people including my family received AIP after around 1 year. Be patient and have faith while waiting. It will end in praise by the grace of God.

AIP usually comes in email but I think paper form is also possible but all the people I know received via email. Medical received means that you passed. They would indicate issues if there was a problem. Have faith, you’re almost done. Good luck my friend.

There is no form to fill. When sending stage 2 documents, you or your lawyer will add a letter requesting for exemption and explaining that you came in as a refugee and your passport ceased at the point of entry. You have nothing to worry about. They are aware of it.

My lawyer applied for exemption in my case. You can not apply for passport without the expired booklet and CBSA will not release the ceased one till you get PR or you are leaving Canada.

Passport will not be any issue. They are aware of the process with refugees. Your COPR is on the way. Good luck my friend.

She is still waiting. She has a family of 4. They have no plans of relocating because they can only speak French language. Your mom already got AIP so be patient. The process becomes quick the moment CSQ is received. Good luck to your mum.
