Obviously I returned by private vehicle as a friend of mine gave me a ride

I reentered Canada by land border with ecopr with no problem at all. You need your ecopr & passport

I got approved almost a year & a half after my medical yet they still accepted it

I am us citizen & did inland Canadian Spousal sponsorship never left once even to visit my parents until I got my ECOPR which took about two & a half years. Therefore best not to leave as there is never guaranteed reentry.

You can always order another copy from the Service Centre of your province

With ecopr you can reenter by a private vehicle or walking across the bridge only. It cannot be used on any commercial carrier (Airlines, Greyhound etc. However you may use a commercial carrier to leave Canada by land.
