There are a lot of us. IRCC is processing Jan-2022 and after applications within the 1 year window and trying to slowly catch-up on the older applications. Doesn't make sense, but then.. its a govt. office.

Called them. The response was basically suck it up and wait. The agent did tell me the file is being processed in Hamilton On, but the only way to contact them is to write a paper letter.

I don't think the requirement is stay in Manitoba forever. It has to be reasonable, definition of reasonable is up in the air.

I am not sure now, the timelines keep changing. This forum might have a thread where people add their info, that might give you an idea of timelines.
