    Last I heard, USPS doesnt forward legal letters. Better to keep the same address and ask someone living at the address to mail it to you. You can call FBI and ask if they can change the address in time. Best of luck.

    Woah that is huge! I commend them for processing such huge number of applications per day. Its not doubt that they receive these numbers as everyone wants to get Criminal BG check for job or renting purpose here.

    Do it like everyone! Apply with LOE and let it process. Going by previous draws, your score is on the threshold, may not come up in next few draws if you decline it now.

    You can go to local police station or Fedex/UPS stores. There are also approved fingerprinting private agencies(find them through Yelp). I got mine from a local private agency. Charge should be ~$20.

    NO NEED TO WORRY NOW AS ECAS HAS BEEN DISABLED FOR ALL EXPRESS ENTRY APPLICANTS! ONLY PAPER-BASED APPLICANTS CAN STILL SEE THEIR STATUS IN ECAS. Yes, it is difficult to read in all CAPS :)

    You should always carry all your passports! Even if expired. Attach them with rubber-band. Atleast thats what the Passport office in India do when they give you a new one.

    What is the difference in opening and processing? Dont they process same day they open the envelope :)

    You need to upload LOE in the box provided asking for more time. If possible get an email from FBI stating the current processing time and app backlog.
