I applied from BLS Montreal which is under Ottawa jurisdiction. I believe walkin is allowed on all days but you need to go early. Mine was a walkin with appointment though but i saw many people who were there without an appointment.

Yeah Ottawa differs sometime in this regard from Toronto as i have seen in the forum.

Any progress for you? Mine are the same dates as yours. I just checked bls tracking and it has a new row stating Last Scan Date with todays date. This row did not exist before. But the date is of today and status is still the same. Last Scan Date 2023-01-17 Application Status Processing...

Hi, I have a question. Will be great if you could answer. For this --> My Daughter Born in Canada with Canadian Birth certificate issued in French in Quebec - did you have to get the birth certificate translated to English when applying for OCI?

Sorry to hear that. I am amazed by all this. I had shared with you earlier forum posts where the office after getting the solemn declaration sent the certificates. But this is beyond comprehension.

Wow. I have no more comments for this. If the oath office is saying that, even after asking for solemn declaration themselves then there is nothing that can be done. I hope all this get's sorted out for you soon.

@warrior30 This is what you need to do. I do realize your stress and anxiety at this but you need to keep trying. Email your oath office again with a new subject stating the 6 weeks to receive the certificate from oath have passed.
