Post Graduate Work Permit Processing Time (PGWP)

Sure, I agree. I wasn't trying to bring you down, just being a bit realistic. You might want to be ready for any travel date changes.

Post Graduate Work Permit Processing Time (PGWP)

If you get your PGWP approved tomorrow, for example, you would submit the TRV application the same day, Nov 19. TRV approvals are taking around 30-40 days. Then you get PPR and you gotta send your passport, which would normally take a couple of weeks to come back. I don't think you would make it...

Clarification on : Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees.

I asked this question in another thread, but this one seems more oriented on what I'm asking. If I have a 4-year bachelor's degree from my home country with ECA and I did a 1-year graduate certificate in Canada, would that count as two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees?

Level of education scores increased in the "preview my score" section after getting ITA

I have a question. For FSW Express Entry, there's a question that says: What is your level of education? Enter the highest level of education for which you: earned a Canadian degree, diploma or certificate or had an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) if you did your study outside...

Are medical exams required for SOWP?

No worries, thanks for following up. I guess I'll go with the second option, getting medical exams and submitting them through webform. I guess that's what makes sense.

Not mentioning EDUCATION in STUDENT VISA : Isn't it Misrepresentation/False Information?

That's a good question, I applied for my study permit through an agency. They managed all the application process. I do have access to my IRCC account but I can't download the files they uploaded, I can just see the list of documents.

Are medical exams required for SOWP?

No, her original WP only had the following restrictions: 1. Must leave Canada by "date". 2. Can't enroll in any educational course or training. 3. Can't work for sex-related trades. She first got a SOWP when I applied for SP. This is the timeline. Apr 2021 - Medical exam taken abroad when...

Are medical exams required for SOWP?

How do I notify this to IRCC? The WP extension was submitted in late July, still waiting for approval and she's actually already working (maintained status).

Not mentioning EDUCATION in STUDENT VISA : Isn't it Misrepresentation/False Information?

I have one master's in project management from my home country. I got ECA for that master's and submitted that for the FSW application. I took a graduate certificate in Canada. I get your point about the lawyer. I've been thinking about just getting ECA for my bachelor's and using that in my...

Not mentioning EDUCATION in STUDENT VISA : Isn't it Misrepresentation/False Information?

Sorry, the lawyer said it SHOULDN'T be a problem. Mistyped there. That's why I decided to get the ECA for the master's and apply to express entry FSW.

Not mentioning EDUCATION in STUDENT VISA : Isn't it Misrepresentation/False Information?

I'm in a similar boat. When I applied for a study permit, I didn't mention that I had a master's degree because the one I took had nothing to do with the career path I was looking for in Canada. Now I'm on a PGWP, I already submitted my express entry profile hoping I can get an ITA before...

Are medical exams required for SOWP?

I'm on a PGWP. I submitted my wife's SOWP extension after her original SOWP expired. While submitting the application, one question asked if the applicant was going to be working on a health-related job, and we said no. She received her maintained status letter and started looking for a job. She...

    Processing time changed

Earlier this year I submitted visitor visa applications for both my parents living in Honduras while I was a student. By that time (around March), processing times for visitor visas in Honduras were around 60 days, but they got approval after three weeks. Now I want to submit visitor visas for...

The website says 18 days, but from what I've seen it's about a month to get approval.
