I totally agree with this. Some of us, like me, are kinda stuck because our WP applications or extensions are pending for months now. I just hope my Work Permit application comes back so that I can continue my life, and more importantly, leave the country!!

I just got my GCMS notes, which were requested in April so ~ 1 month. Is there a thread on the platform that has discussed how to interpret the GCMS notes? Apparently, my file has been stuck at Info Sharing for more than 2 months.

Perhaps, when it's time for that, we could apply 6 - 12 months before we are actually eligible. That way, by the time they eventually get to our applications, we would be eligible...;)

While I agree that the fees we pay are many times duplicated, this is the best solution. If we don't pay these fees, they would need more funding from the government. That then becomes a political issue and could lead to even more delays.

What happened in your case?

I think how long the MP replies depends on their constituency. I contacted my MP from NL, they replied within 3 business days with the update (they asked some clarifying questions within 2 business days). An MP from Montreal or Toronto would have many more constituents than from SK, NL, etc.

Is this limited to Ontario? Could one get such a letter outside of Ontario? QC? NL? BC?

3 months is a long time to not have an address. Since they asked for a specific 3 month period, I'd say provide every address you lived at during those three months.

But if you become PR while outside the country, your TRV/WP becomes useless no?

How do you get a GU? Do you get an email or something?
