    Home Childcare Provider Pilot 2019

I think they will still ask that question irrespective of if the employee is not related to the employer. How was the employer taking care of their childcare needs before, why is that way no longer convenient for them now and why must the caregiver come from outside the country. They just want...

    Home Childcare Provider Pilot 2019

Why don't you check the provincial insurance requirements of the province you are heading to and read up on eligibility. I think some provinces cover all residents (including workers) from day 1 of arrival there while in other provinces, newcomers may need to buy private health insurance for the...

    Home Childcare Provider Pilot 2019

It won't apply to you. Your employer already has history of employing caregivers, which you are proof of, from the old caregiver program. I think this will apply mainly to people hiring relatives, to make sure there's really a need to hire the caregiver.

Temporary public policy to facilitate the granting of permanent residence for caregivers who applied under the HCCP and HSWP in 2020

I think I saw an instruction for the officers processing 2020 caregivers. It gives guidelines on how officers should process 2020 caregivers under the new policy. I guess whether any of us on the forum is 2019, 2020 or 2021, we will just have to wait and see how it all works out. They will...

    Home Childcare Provider Pilot 2019

This is very sad...I feel the agent didn't submit your application when they claimed they did if not why would the IRCC letter have a separate date. Investigate and if its true, report this person because he/she might have just cost you the new government policy for 2020 applicants.

    Home Childcare Provider Pilot 2019

I'm sorry, when you say PR number, do you mean Permanent Residence number or Permanent File number? Because from your timeline, you haven't been asked for biometrics or medicals or any other supporting documents.

Temporary public policy to facilitate the granting of permanent residence for caregivers who applied under the HCCP and HSWP in 2020

I am a bachelor's degree holder, so, you can say I'm also intelligent and a professional (infact in some Canadian provinces, my profession requires registration) The point I have been trying to make with the express entry talk is that...everyone has a pathway that is best suited to their...

Temporary public policy to facilitate the granting of permanent residence for caregivers who applied under the HCCP and HSWP in 2020

No bubbles to burst here...My brother just got PR..he's not rich and he's been in canada since 2017. Express entry applicants only need to show settlement funds if they don't have job offers. Infact, the fees they pay is exactly the same we paid except the work permit fees. The only way u spend...

Temporary public policy to facilitate the granting of permanent residence for caregivers who applied under the HCCP and HSWP in 2020

Exactly!! What God cannot do, doesn't exist. Positivity and lots of prayers is what we all need. PR or work permit, My aim is to move to Canada. Even if granted work permit, the assurance is there that on completing 24months work experience PR will follow. Do you know some students spend...

Temporary public policy to facilitate the granting of permanent residence for caregivers who applied under the HCCP and HSWP in 2020

Many 2019 applicants were already at medicals request (or close to that) before covid lockdown. There shouldn't be much required before work permit is granted

Temporary public policy to facilitate the granting of permanent residence for caregivers who applied under the HCCP and HSWP in 2020

That's probably why they're aiming to ensure work permits for 2019 applicants happen by the 30th of June. Another thing is this...2019 applications ircc received is under 1,000 while 2020 applications could be up to 4,000 (since hccp reached cap of 2,750). So maybe the numbers contributed to...

Temporary public policy to facilitate the granting of permanent residence for caregivers who applied under the HCCP and HSWP in 2020

Its not practicable to expect that PR for 2020 applicants will happen by June, thats why they came up with the public policy (to shift 2020 processing a bit forward, and reward the applicants with PR for time wasted ).. Even before covid19 happened PR by express entry took at least...

Temporary public policy to facilitate the granting of permanent residence for caregivers who applied under the HCCP and HSWP in 2020

The public policy on 2020 HCCP/HSWP applicants is simply ; a policy that is meant to exempt 2020 applicants from the requirement of work permit to PR in order to help ircc save time to process 2021 applicants, or their will be multiple year processing delays for 2021 and others yet to apply...

Who still needs help with applying to the HSWP/HCCP?

I guess that should work if the employer is personally known to you (family or friend)

Who still needs help with applying to the HSWP/HCCP?

Scan both ways will be best..I really don't know how that would work too...that's why I said, this situation requires a lot of prayer.
