If you haven't done your interview and test (Your application is still In Process), you have to inform CIC about your new passport.

    July 2019 - Citizenship Applicants

I think if your case already processed as an urgent processing case then they find a way to do your ceremony faster but if your case is a normal processing case then you have to wait until they announce the next step (maybe it takes couple of months)

I didn't know either and they asked me to translate all non English stamps and send them by mail. I did so (translation took 2 weeks) and now my application's status is Decision Made (24 days after interview) Don't worry, everything will be fine.;)

Yes they need after immigration trips but if you have any stamps on your passport that are not in English (even for before eligibility period), you need to have English translation for them because when officer is checking your trips she/he doesn't know those non English stamps belong to before...

    September 2019 - Citizenship Applicants

I think in your case email shows the correct information because for me there was a mistake in ECAS (it was not test date but the date they send notice) I think someone manually enters information in ECAS system so it can have typo errors. Email is more important because you have to print that...

    August 2019 - Citizenship Applicants

I passed the test (20/20) today. At interview they asked me to translate input/output stamps of my passports those are not in English and gave me a paper to submit with translated documents. I think this process would take 2-3 more weeks for me until my case goes to decision made and then I can...

Any case has its own timeline and is different from others. When a case goes to In Process, it means they start to do background and security checks like checking trips, tax payments, ID verification... If someone applied at the same time and he/she already done the test but you haven't even...

Sorry to hear that. You can give it a try and tell CIC your father's problem and wait to see what CIC can do for you. I suggest to get a letter from your father's doctor to support your reasons.

    August 2019 - Citizenship Applicants

As you know Allegation and conviction are two different things. Allegation can be made easily by everyone but conviction is only made by a judge! So I think before you convicted of a crime you are safe in your citizenship application. If you plead not guilty then everything will be alright but...

If they asked for fingerprint it means they need it for your case and if you try to contact them and convince them not doing that I think it will delay your application more. If I were you I go and do it today. The result will be received by them in next 10-14 days and everything will be normal...
