PNP nomination with Conditional Discharge (Assault SEC 266 CC)

Your criminal record says failure to comply; I don't know why you're arguing with me. This forum is hosted by an immigration law firm. Give them a call. Not sure how you missed that big logo at the top and the phone number at the bottom.

PNP nomination with Conditional Discharge (Assault SEC 266 CC)

Well, if you breached the conditions of your discharge, you've failed to comply. That may likely cause you problems. Receiving a sentence of probation with counselling is not a discharge and this may make you criminally inadmissible. But you need a lawyer. I could be wrong.

PNP nomination with Conditional Discharge (Assault SEC 266 CC)

If this happened in 2019 and you got your 1 year conditional discharge in 2019, you should be discharged - there should be no record. You mentioned fail to comply at first, which would be a reason why you'd still have it on your record. Here's the short answer: if you are fully discharged...

Received COPR, can I buy property without getting taxed NRST while waiting for PR card?

You should be considered a permanent resident but part of this will be up to the realtors and lawyers understanding what a COPR is. Talk to them.

Do I need temporary residence visa as a student if i already have a visitor visa?

You may (probably) still be asked for your student visa. You may not be, but you may be asked. This would not speed up the process to "decision made."

    TRV Visitor Record Question

Your TRV does not generally impose a length of stay - that happens at the border. If you are admitted to the country, unless the CBSA officer writes in your passport or stamps in your passport a shorter time, you are permitted to stay for 6 months. You can enter Canada on the last day of a...

Princiapal appplicant docs and returned (incomplete)application

    1. You need to review all your forms to see if any have changed and print new ones. You can correct the errors on the original forms as you are submitting anew; when your application is returned it is as if you never applied. 2. Your checklist will explain who needs to submit what forms and...

If your criminal record includes "failure to comply with a recognizance or undertaking," it means someone things you violated the terms of your release or conditional discharge which is likely a very big problem. You also posted this twice; you should only post it once.

PR application with Conditional Discharge Assault Sec 266 cc International post Graduate

If your criminal record check includes a notation of failure to comply with recognizance or undertaking, this means you violated your conditional discharge OR another charge and that is very concerning.

PR application with Conditional Discharge Assault Sec 266 cc International post Graduate

You're not eligible for PR with that criminal record until the conditions of the discharge have been met. If the conditions of the discharge are met, then that should not pose an issue. Be prepared for IRCC to ask many questions about this - you will probably want a lawyer to help you through...

Is sending in passport photos a guarantee?

Nothing is "set in stone" until you land in Canada. However, receiving a passport request is certainly a strong indication that nothing should go wrong - only extremely odd and unfortunate situations would result in a refusal at this point.

Have you tried linking an application to a GCKey account or checking status of an application using ECAS? If neither of those options work, contact your Member of Parliament. You should have received at least some indication of something in the past year - I would suspect your application was...

Canadian Passport Application by Mail - Mother's surname at birth - mandatory?

It's not optional unless it's clearly marked as optional. On the form nowhere does it suggest it is optional.

Domestic flight undocumented with a valid passport

Wow. They're going to ask for valid photo ID but it's not standard practice to verify immigration status when flying domestically. However, there may be random spot checks and if your name/passport is flagged anywhere in the computer system for other matters (criminal, etc.), though I don't...
