    Thanks :). Don't also forget that the Bill that the Liberals passed last year eliminated the Harper second class citizen stigma that was hanging over the head of every dual citizen in this country. If most have, I still have not forgotten; that is why I am grateful to the Liberal Party of Canada.

    Don't panic, you are still within the 12 months processing time. You should only get worried if you don't hear from IRCC after January 2019. For now, you are fine :)

    Nope, not mandatory, I never received any request to do a fingerprint and I got my Test Invite last week after I had been in process (IP) since April.

    All I can advice is, sending them a web form application status update request from time to time (once every two weeks or so) does help, in my view it pokes whomever is handling the file.
