Yeah, total BS clickbait article. Who in their right mind that spent all that time and energy required to become a surgeon just to go and struggle in Canada when they can just print money in their own home country.

So, this guy is working as a surgeon in Canada so he must already have an impossible to get license for a super skilled job of a surgeon but couldn't get a PR while college graduates with shit CRS scores are getting easy PR's? How the f**k did he end up in Canada in the first place? Study...

I honestly think Canada is trying to stuff a large number of clothes into a tiny suitcase with immigration just because it is direly needed for the "economy". If immigrants are unable to find a proper job, they will just leave wasting all that effort to make them immigrate in the first place.

The other side to this is even if there are more jobs than job seekers, employers will never hire just anyone unless they have them "skillz".

Maybe this new program is targeted at inland applicants only because getting a job offer from outside Canada is very difficult and the requirement is to fill the job right now instead of 1-2 years later right? Inland applicants already have a big advantage at getting a nomination in general so...

Maybe give them the nomination and a work permit without the job offer until PR is in process or just give them the f***ing work permit first? I don't understand how there is a big labor shortage in Canada but getting a work permit from outside is next to impossible. It's like if you want to...
