Exactly. If they have enough capacity to process grandparents applications then why only sideline FSWs? For the good of the refugees? Nah, I don't think that's a valid point.

This argument is so silly tbh. I studied in Canada and worked there, I paid taxes too! My work permit expired before EE was properly implemented but these newbies for CEC often forget that a lot of FSW outlands have actually studied (and worked) in Canada too. If anything else they should...

Lol yes. I did it while pursuing my Masters. I guess I was too confident that FSW will continue.

THIS! It's no longer about covid at this point in time. Also, I think the backlog would be so big atm, they don't know where to start. Either way, for people like me who spent 2-3 years learning French in order to get bonus points, the nighmarish scenario of IRCC terminating the FSW program or...

My experience with TEF Canada and TCF Canada and what I make of it. Please share.

No sorry. For TEF, you need to score B2 (superior) in all categories. I had two C1's but got a B1 in writing and failed the whole thing. For TCF Canada, it's you need B2 in all categories. Imo, TCF Canada is better than TEF Canada but I guess it depends on your learning style too. That being...

Will see. Perhaps they'll give us a few more points for EE. I studied for two years, so I get like 15 points. I don't think they'll actually take the step of implementing another whole new program for those with Canadian credentials.

I don't think it will give you a lot of points. You need a B2 superior grade in all modules. Keep on going though, you will get there.

This!!! I also studied in Canada and worked there but at that time express entry was new and I was not able to apply. Long story short, I finished my post graduate education, learned French to increase my points and by the time everything was done, covid happened! But many people forget that...

Fair enough. Thanks for pointing it out. I did look at the new codes but only came across this statement just now (thank to you). I was just a bit concerned that all my years of hard work learning French would be gone to waste, but apperantly it doesn't seem to be the case from this statement...

Hoping this is not the case. My ECA'ed Masters is completely different than my skilled work experience a few years back. I'd be completely screwed if this law takes place.

My biggest concern is if they would want applicants to correlate their education with their work experience. Because I have my Masters in a completely different subject than my skilled work experience.

Well, for the people who were screaming and shouting that the covid restrictions will give governments unchecked powers to make irrational decisions, they are vindicated now.

God I hope so. I wasted almost 3-4 years of my life so my score can exceed over 500. But if this policy is enacted then all my efforts of learning French and getting my Masters from a EU country would be gone to waste. Not to mention that I would have to get more work experience, which won't be...

Since the new NOC system will be introduced, should people like me give up all hope? I have a Masters in a different field but I worked in a NOC B occupation for one year, a few years back. I spent 3 years learning French and it will be such a slap on the face to know that now you need formal...

I am not sure tbh. If you fail then you need to do the whole thing again, I think.

Now instead of blaming himself, he has resorted to racism and most likely because of his privilege expects a PR visa stamped in his passport for nothing.

When I used to study in Canada, I did came across some immigrants like @chemistesa who were hateful and jealous of other immigrants. Little did he knows that like him everyone sacrificed a lot. I learned French from scratch to boost up my score and also went to Canada and successfully completed...

Sure. When you can't get something, blame the others. It's because of people like yourself, the world is such a divided place.
