    COPR and coronavirus

I had actually submitted a scanned copy of my passport before the counterfoil was generated. I noticed only after submitting my passport for stamping that we need to upload a latest scanned copy of our passport as well, so I uploaded whatever pictures of pages I could find and added flight...

No, I didn’t receive any acknowledgement from their side. A few days later I saw that the counterfoil and biometrics info from my profile had vanished and the status was changed.

    COPR and coronavirus

I had copied the text from the bottom section of the email (the format written below), clicked “reply” on the same email and pasted the format there and entered my particulars. This worked for me and I would recommend the same. Also, do make sure the subject line is not changed. “RE:” will be...

    COPR and coronavirus

Hi, You’ll need to prepare a different packet for each applicant. For EACH packet the following need to be included: 1. Passport 2. Height and eye color of the passport holder (https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/migration/ircc/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm5455b.pdf) 3. Passport request letter...

Hi, You can cross it or write NA against it, that’s what I did. I filled that I don’t want to submit them.

    COPR and coronavirus

Hi everyone, I just wanted to share an update: I logged into my account today to see if there was any update. Although I wasn’t expecting much since today is a holiday in India and since the timeline I’ve been tracking has been around 3 weeks since submission to get the counterfoil generated...

    COPR and coronavirus

Hi, For me the timeline was around 6 months (details in my signature below), but YMMV. Some people have reported much faster processing timelines whereas some have reported longer.

Two Way courier services VFS New Delhi - India

Hi, If in case you have received the “Do you still want to immigrate” email from IRCC, I would suggest replying to them on that email address to get your remedical request expedited. Othrewise webforms are the only way to go as per my knowledge. I have been advised not to do an upfront medical...

Could I ask where does this field appear, I’m unfortunately unable to recall. But if I had to guess what I’d fill in it, I would fill out the date on which my first COPR was issued.

You could try using a different browser or try using your phone, maybe some bug is causing the text box to not appear.

I got to know from a friend’s friend who tried to get his second dose of Covishield earlier by showing his PR visa, and he was declined. The medical center guys said that only student and work visas are allowed to jump the wait time. :/

Hi, I personally don’t think that should be any problem as long as the details are mentioned at the back. Just be sure to measure the size of the face (chin to top of head) to be between 31mm-36mm and photo dimensions 50mmx70mm.

    COPR and coronavirus

Any photo studio should be able to print them, just make sure they understand exactly how the photo is to be adjusted and it would be a good idea to check the measurements in the photo studio itself before walking out (photo dimensions 50mmx70mm, chin-to-top of head length between 31mm-36mm)...

    COPR and coronavirus

This has been happening with me almost ever since I have been using their website. It has become more frequent in the last one month or so though. I not have to open several tabs together and hope one of them works, that’s how I am able to access the account. Sometimes even that doesn’t work, so...

Hi, I don’t think it should be an issue. I had uploaded only my bank account statement and it worked out.

Hello, If it is really that illegible, you could send a webform explaining the situation and upload the new scanned file in the end. I think the webform has a file size limit of around 2.5MB or so, so just be sure to have the images compressed enough to meet the limit.

Haha thanks, yeah, it’s been long in the tooth :p As @idhar_chicha aptly put it, all timelines would likely be the same, at least till the volume of passports to be processed by VFS gets down to manageable levels. From what I gather, right now there are thousands of student and work permit...
