There are more than 10 suggestions to improve this or make this process effective rather than just mere on the luck. But seems Govt is not serious or this stream does not come as priority and has been only doing ping pong on FIFO and lucky-draw from last few years.

For example if I have been invited for PGP and 1 or 2 of mine annual income is found not enough based on the quota but still I submitted the application then I should be hanged till death for the heinous mistake.

Did they announce in total how many applicants applied for 2020 PGP and what was final number for the draw after removing duplicates?

My point was if in 2020 they don't receive any complete application then 2021 quota would be used, not 2020. Hence most likely this draw would use 2021 quota (i.e. 30K) and reduce next year's total number to probably little over to 20K. They have used very complicated language and it is prone...

There is no way for IRCC to process 150,000+ applications and takeout fraud/incomplete applications. What I think IRCC will do, draw 10,000 applications check one by one if everything is valid & complete and send out email notifications, if they found few are incomplete/not-valid they will draw...

I think you can apply without your farther, just mention one parent name for now. Later you need to show financially that you can support family including your father, but you would continue to say that your father would not accompany your mother. Others can correct me.

You only need to submit PR card for now. Once you are invited then you need to send rest of the documents along with the application forms and fees.

No need to worry - many people are applying at the same time, hence it is taking time.

I am in the same boat - so far my conclusion is that we need to mention only for both parents. Not their dependent children information.

I recall that I read somewhere that they use Excel for randomizing and selection. Not sure if this is true.

    PGP 2020

You may be correct - but I don't think that CIC would manipulate and give favor to some known people. Yes you can argue on true randomness (mathematically), but that is okay in this case.

    PGP 2020

Does the confirmation number indicate, how many applications submitted so far? Or this is random number.

Hahah - this year number will go to 200,000 interested applicants - 1/20 chance of getting selected.
