    I don't know if it's a coincidence or not, but when I emailed RCMP on June 17 to follow up on my police certificate, they replied back with a generic response on June 30 and the same day it was issued.

    Strange. I saw a lot of people getting it within 6 weeks. I guess it depends on where you applied from.

    As I said, you will receive an email from IRCC that your PR is about to be approved and to confirm if you are in Canada. At that time, you can simply book a ticket to get back to Canada at the earliest.

    You can travel while your application is in process. your COPR won't be issued right away. IRCC will first send you an email confirming if you are in Canada.     Call IRCC to check which stages have passed and if the background check has started, which components have passed (criminality, info sharing, etc.).

    Yes, you can apply to both programs and there won't be any issues. You have to pay for the Express entry application as well.

    Who says you can't travel or that your app. will go into hold if you travel? You are allowed to travel while your PR application is in process, you just have to be physically in Canada during approval. Both @legalfalcon and IRCC agents have confirmed this.
