Bros @Jaycejay @Alysson do u think with the covid situation around the world getting out of hand, it's worth holding on to hope for fsw draws in Q1 2022?
Well the goodnews is that Omicron (a far less deadly variant) of the virus is replacing delta. As long as there are no potentially more virulent mutations we should be fine. People are going to develop immunity, naturally or through vaccination; the virus should dwindled out slowly, hopefully.

Interestingly I currently have Covid, but I’m fine. Loaded up myself with some immuneboosting supplements

Scotland just reporting that the hospitalization due to omicron is far leas than delta. At least 2/3 lower. Good news. Many countries also reporting less severity. 2022 should be a good year, hopefully

nobody knows at this point. Omicron is here and we yet to see how it will affect countries with bigger elderly population. I read it in the news that even if omicron is a less deadly variant than delta was, still we can expect a spike in the number of deaths in the upcoming weeks here in Europe because it is spreading quicker than delta..

No increase in death rate in South Africa where it was first identified; they are already long past the lag phase. Hospitalization actually dropping currently. This is a country with poor vaccination coverage. Europe should be fine. I gave an example of Scotland above

Omicron peaked quickly in SA and started dropping down again. We'll see how it goes, but I don't think the spike will be a long one like Delta. Mid Jan we'll have a better Idea on whats in store for Q1. Right now, try to enjoy your the holidays as much as possible.

I am not trying to panic anyone, it is not about covid or variant it is just politics, unfortunately we are caught up in this mess.

Some BC universities moved their classes to primarily online for Jan 2022. The way they (universities) talk about omicron is as if it were the T virus from resident evil. Libtards will never let go of this regardless of what data is out there and what other countries do. These are JT's liberal and globalist universities after all; of course they'd serve the same purpose.

But I think it was the CDC or WHO that maintains its too early to determine if Omnicron is deadly or not. "What was seen in SA cannot be generalized for the rest of the world as the cases were mostly among healthier and a younger population. Cannot be the same for Europe and the Americas" - their words. And besides I don't trust the Canadian government to take the more pragmatic approach to this situation.

I still doubt JT could harm in 2022 as much as he did in 2021 if there's a strong global view, evidence and media coverage that says omicron is not all that bad. But you see that's a big if. What's clear is JT and his communist Chinese lobby is on the watch for a good enough excuse to "save Canadian lives" for an entire year again over some flu. We can only hope he never gets that opportunity.
