Hi,

I have a question regarding Reference Letter. I am applying via NOC 2171. My past company wont provide me any reference letter for job duties. But i have the work experience letter they provided me on company letter head stating my designation and the time that i worked. They don't provide a Job duty reference letter. My manager/supervisor during the time i worked in the company is ready to provide me a job reference letter but he doesn't work in the company as of now. Can i still use the job duties reference letter that he can write for me.
Unfortunately, the letter will not be on a company letter head. What documents would i need to provide in such a scenario. I can get him to provide me his employment letter that he was working in the company at the same time as i was. Can this suffix or any other alternatives that the experts can suggest here ?

Thank you.

If you have no choice but to use the letter from your manager, get it properly notarised.
It might help if you could also get a letter from your company confirming your manager was employed during the same period.
Don't forget you also need to provide your salary information if it's not included in the reference letter from your company

Are there any cases where PR got approved without a reference letter but using supporting documents like IT-returns, pay stub and offer letter?
