@legalfalcon Could you please answer below queries. I am awaiting PPR - Outland applicant
a) When i submitted express entry profile and AOR, I have shown all funds in my savings account. Now can i move those funds to FD within the same bank account. Will it have any impact during landing?
b) Intitally i showed funds from India account. while landing, Can i show proof of funds from Canada bank account maintained during last 6 months before landing date?
c) Due to emergency if I consume some of my funds now, and then I deposit them back to my account after 3 months, will it have any impact?

Hello Everyone,

Submitted my application on October 7 2020 but came back to India in Jan 2021 due to personal reason.Like everyone it is a long wait for me as well. Finally got a pre intimation email along with a PDF on September 14th, stating that permanent residence has been approved and i need to confirm my current location to enable online portal account to do a soft landing. But as mentioned i am in home country and cannot do a soft landing. It will take few more days/months to get COPR and PPR request for me to travel back to Canada. Below are my details

Worked on a closed work permit and i'm the primary applicant.
My dependent spouse and child never been to Canada.

At least am happy that PR is approved and waiting for the next step.

Just wanted to spread some positivity.

Throw Kindness around like Confetti !!!

All the very best everyone.

After holding the biggest ever cec draw, they're holding pnp only draws now which gives me the impression that apart from covid concerns they are also taking into account the demand supply gap in the labor market. Think about it, CEC applicants would most probably have a job anyway and PNP would be filling out specific positions. If the borders have been reopened and they're still not processing outland applications then most likely scenario is that they will wait for the economy to pick up before they start allowing outlanders to enter. Not saying that as a fact but just trying to rationalise since IRCC is not bothered to offer an explanation. I think this silence is well thought out. The blow back from the applicants who can't do anything seems to be the most viable option for them right now and they're sticking with it. I think covid is just an excuse and it's not about their processing capacity at all. They seem to be doing this on purpose. Also if you take into account the rationale behind the whole express entry system, it is to bridge the gap between labor supply and demand. If they keep outlanders coming in with not enough jobs in the market, it would put pressure on the government to take care of more unemployed people.

This logic holds good for PNP / FSW outland candidate. They have also blocked processing for FSW-Inland applications. Is surprising. FSW inland applicants are already in Canada and have a job so there is absolutely no reason blocking FSW - Inland applicants.

hmm didn't take that into account..maybe they just don't like fsw-inland candidates. My house of cards just came crumbling down, mind is rife with speculation and life is at a standstill..

I would agree with you... except for one little thing. Won't Canadian govt be providing public healthcare for these individuals?
