RCMP Provided upfront
1st GU somewhere in April probably the file assigned to a visa office. according to GCMS.
Visa Office - March - CIO-Ottawa, May - Vancouver Immigration, August - Edmonton IRCC (according to GCMS).
Latest GCMS August 5th, 2021 Eligibility - Not started, Security - Not started, Info Sharing - In progress, Criminality - In progress.
No updates after March 19th, 2021 they are just moving my file from one office to another and I think so it is yet to be assigned to an Immigration officer.

thanks, good to know that it worked for you. There is no pattern to guess or estimate for people waiting at different stages and approaching 6 months.

That is the reason I've been holding on myself from calling them. It will be 6 months soon & we have every reason to call. The say applications that are COMPLEX take more than 6 months and I want to ask what complexity did they find in my application.

If your security aid not started or in progress your application is complex as per IRCC . It is as simple as that

Mandamus won’t work. This is just March 2021 group . FYI- They won’t even admit Mandumus

Congratulations! Your VO is Montreal right? Did u ever had GUs in the past? Or have u ordered gcms notes? Are u a single applicant or with dependents?

Yeah, I think the update is genuine as being stuck on Feb 7th makes a lot of sense.

It'll move fairly slowly these next few weeks given the refugee backlog. It's also been a short working week with Labour Day on Monday, especially as many people use vacation days to take the Friday off for a long weekend.

This is also around the time the big February draw started, which will take a lot of time to sift through. I'm optimistic we'll see some movement as we go into October.

I'm still waiting on my GCMS notes though, it's been 36 days since the order was made

I am waiting for my GCMS too, and it is likely to take around 30 days for GCMS applicants to get the reply. My heart is racked these days.

Thanks yes montreal but I got my portal email now from calgary so I guess my case got transferred in the last couple weeks.. i had just this morning two GUs..no gcms.. I got one dependent my partner.
