Seems like your immigration consultant is scamming you. No immigration application takes 3 years to process if there are no complications and if the consultant was genuine then he would have ordered GCMS notes already to find out what's taking so long.
So sorry this happened to you but don't trust anything your consultant says.
I asked help to local MP and they said that everything has passed. We just need to wait. We are done with our remed as well. I emailed VO ottawa no reply. Tried webform no reply. Now I will request for Gcms notes. Hopefully I will get a reply. Thank you guys. May God bless us all. Keep safe.

A long time ago I recall reading somewhere on this platform that if one files a Mandate appeal in Canada, then ircc is forced to take a decision in a timeframe?? Does anyone know anything about this or is it even a thing??

Anyway it does not seem good and fast enough for me - took 18 month and 7500$ for Court decision.

$7,500 in solicitor-client costs
February 2020, the couple applied for judicial review. They requested the Federal Court intervene and order IRCC to decide their application within seven days

Recd GCMS notes today. Security check still pending for spouse and me. Medicals have been extended by one year and will now expire in Mar 2021. The file was last opened on Apr 30, 2021. I had added my spouse to the application after AOR. Eligibility is passed.

File has also been transferred from Ottawa to New Delhi now - is there any reason for this?

usually when they ask address, date and last port of arrival it is last step - few days before copr. but you never can be sure when it depends on IRCC action.
…hoping and praying for it since it’s been 3years now…keep safe and May God bless us all. thank you

Dear all
My copr expired on 26 june 2021, i could not travel cause of covid restrictions

I got an email from ircc to do my remeds
They have given me a months time to do the remeds

I have question, on the renewal do they give one year valid copr or are they giving shorter time

Need to know this cause will be traveling with family and kids who go to school.

Would appreciate a reply
