Has anyone received a survey link from IRCC today? I jumped from my chair when I saw an email from them, then got disappointed after I read that it's just a survey! Got even more disappointed when they said the questions are prepared for applicants from outside Canada or at least having dependents outside of Canada, yet it was sent to me. Although calling many times and sending forms confirming that I am in Canada, they still don't know that I am here!

The good thing is I received similar survey about a year ago, just before general draws resumed, when I got my ITA. Hopefully, it's a good sign that general draws is about to happen, and they return to work on all EE stream similarly.

Oh gosh! When is your AOR? I do hope they do something about our inland files.

Did FSW - Inland candidates also get the IRCC survey request ? I did not get one hence checking. I saw few comments that only FSW-O candidates got the survey request. I found this logic amusing as IRCC does not have system to differentiate between Inlands & Outlands :) :)

Yes, I got it. FSW Inland, AOR Aug 2020. They ask couple of questions at the begining and once you say that you are in Canada with all dependents, they these questions are not prepared for you.

Oh so this means the survey is only for outland candidates :( , Ideally they should record somewhere that we are in Canada with all dependents and expedite the processing. This proves that FSW- Inland is most neglected category of all

They have stopped responding to our tweets as IRCC is busy processing cec2021 applications and the minister is busy tweeting/retweeting abt his meetings with other ministers.

I hope they bear the consequences of their actions in the next elections. They either don't care about the wellbeing and mental health of their future immigrants and just see them as numbers to fill the quota, or they are extremely incompetent to properly manage the processes during a crisis. In either case, they shouldn't last long in that position as a minister.

They won’t. The affectees will be eligible to vote somewhere 4-6 years later from now. They are only focusing on current scenario. At upcoming elections they will have enough data from 2021 applications to prove how unprecedentedly efficient working IRCC had by processing applications in record 6-12 weeks despite pandemic. For previous applications/backlog who would question their COVID excuse.

I called ircc in April and I was told no updates. GCMC notes came in May and no updates. I called them again yesterday and NO UPDATES! My eligibility hasn't even been started!

I've finally applied here for a visit visa because I can't travel to where my parents are as they're not issuing new visas there. I've been in Canada for a very long time as a student and as a worker. I didn't initially qualify on my post grad work permit (didn't have enough points) so I went back on a student visa to study more. After that I applied as fsw as I had more points but couldn't qualify for a bwop as my last status was that of a student. I've been reading everyone's posts on here since last year and I feel like you all are the only ones who understand my situation. It sucks to see everyone else moving on with their lives and you're just stuck. I can't work. I can't go back home. Every single day is a drag. Everyday I keep asking why me? My anxiety is so high, I can't even sleep properly. Friends and family ask about updates and ... I just tell them I will obv tell them when I hear something so please stop asking me. I have emailed the PM, I have emailed the immigration minister, I have tweeted, I have sent web forms and like everyone else, all I receive is a generic reply. I've been living in Canada since 2009. My luck is that bad that things have just not been working out for me. Please don't ask me questions about why it didn't work out before. Life happened. Now here I am, waiting. I don't even know a life anywhere else because I've lived here for 12 years. How pathetic is the system here that I can't even get a work permit just so I can atleast work while waiting.
