I heard from immigration today because I wrote them asking what can I do so I don’t have to wait for an interview. They wrote back and told me to submit documents in support of my application but didn’t say what type of documents. And they said it will determine if my husband needs the interview or not. Am excited and confuse
Send important things no more of the same and my advice is to also send a letter explaining any questions they may have about the relationship, I sent:

Letter written by my husband.
Conversations
Sending of money.
Sending of gifts.
Airbnb receipts.
Passport Stamps.
Photos.

Everything was in total around 200 sheets.

Good luck!!!

Not yet! Strangely. It's starting to make me nervous, haha.
Edit: Is it possible to get PPR and still be denied? No, right?
I have the same timeline and same vo. My husband file was transferred from mexico to sao paulo on february 17,2021 and we receiver the letter to medical and ppr on april 09,2021. Medical done april 13, 2021 and we are waiting. I live in montreal and my husband is from Brazil.

Can you share your full timetime? And how do you know your application is in São Paulo Visa Office and not in Mexico anymore? My spouse is also in Quebec, and I am Brazilian.

For me, they told me when I sent a webform to Mexico. I asked them to change the address, and they said our app is now in Sao Paulo.
I later saw it in the GCMS notes as well. It seems like they will not notify you (at least they didn't notify me in any way).

I will try for a webform then. I am an October 2019 applicant, hopefully I receive the PPR soon. At least we were able to get a TRV.

Omg why is it they are holding us up so long so looks like I have until next year to reunite with my husband. I was in Guyana in December and came back up in January before they implemented this quarantine hotel business
I started sponsoring my husband in March 2019 & still waiting also. Biometirics and medicals were done in June 2019/

Anybody here how long from DM to PPR applicants from Cuba nov 2018.
We just got the Passport request today, back in February we got the pre arrival and two days later a request for a new police certificate. My wife is from Cuba and she has to bring the passport to the Canadian Embassy in Havana. In the e-mail we just received they mentioned that the Canadian Embassy in Havana is only accepting passports during limited hours and instructing is to follow the instructions previously provided to us by the IRCC regarding date and time of passport submission.
Does anyone knows the current date and time that the Embassy is accepting the passports ?
Thanks in advance
We are from July 19, 2019
