I become PR under DR (dependant of refugee) in 2018. I sponsored my wife in March 2020. Today I received a PFL, it said in my wife's form, it indicated she had lived with me from 2017 to 2018 for 14 months, and I did not declare her as a common-law parnter. This is true because I did not even know I should declare her as my common-law partner.

I also saw a pilot project to sponsor undeclared family members. I believed I am in this situation. I was confused that the immigration officer did not know this pilot project??? and ask me for PFL?? can someone confirm this with me ?

Yes - you should qualify under the pilot. Consider getting help from a lawyer to respond to the PFL.

You mentioned here that you became PR in 2018 and your wife had lived with you from 2017 to 2018. I think the problem is with your old application form not your wife's. Did you disclose this when you applied? Also where she lived with you in this period? In Canada or some other country?

Well, if he declared it back then, he won't be a dependent (in a common law relationship). I guess he needs help from a lawyer and may be the pilot program will allow him to sponsor his undeclared common law spouse and excuse him from misrepresentation.

Hello, I have the same PFL and I also qualify for the public policy. Can you please please share with me how you responded to the letter, in particular what did you tell them the reason for not declaring your spouse was?

why do you tell me? you are a funny guy, I don't care if you approve or not. I paid for what I did. Don't take advantage of other people's money.

You may choose to do it yourself, no problem at all. You are free to do whatever you want to. I chose to hire a lawyer, and it's my choice. Then why I should tell what my lawyer did and wrote. I paid for it. It's very funny.
