Hello, good folks! Please help me out.

I got COPR on Nov 19 and it expired on Apr 20. I haven't received any communication from IRCC. I had raised few webforms but got only generic replies.

Now they are saying even webform can't be raised. Is there any way to contact them. Processed through NDVO.

Please share any info that you might have
You just have to wait now i guess. They've given me only 20 days to plan my travel. Gotta go before feb 27. With you i think you will have to get ur medicals redone and update the results, assuming your medicals would have expired by now. Post that they'll issue you a new COPR. You can check with people who have done medicals proactively and uploaded the results.

I got my COPR in March but could not travel to Canada. In October, I got a mail from IRCC stating that would I be able to travel in the next 2 months or would I like to travel later. Due to the pandemic situation, I wanted to travel later and responded accordingly.
Now I want to travel to Canada and I have tried sending emails to IRCC and calling the Canadian Embassy in India but to no avail. What should I do? Is anyone going through something similar?
Can I check when is your COPR expiring? And when they offer you to travel within 2 months last October, did IRCC give a special permission for the travel as I understand that new PR with COPR can't travel to Canada now.

Congratulations on your recent landing @ssi1990 and thank your for reply. That's good to know that crew was aware of our situation. Since you flew from Chicago, I also wanted to ask where you had the PCR test done? I'm a bit nervous that the result may take more than 72 hours.
@nrthstr1202 I went to Vitality Urgent care in Arlington Heights. They charge depending upon whether you need the results in 24 hours or 48 hours.

Hi all,
This group and its members have helped me a lot.Thanks.

Sharing my experience if it could help anyone.I sent RTT form in November 2020 but got no response until on 31st December I got AL.
I booked Emirates flight for 27th Jan 2021 via Dubai to Toronto.
I took my Expired copr,AL,Arrivecan,PCR test results. These were asked at both immigration counters in India and Toronto_Overall it was very smooth and no questions were asked apart this.

To all my fellow group members dont stress.I also quit my job last year to migrate to canada. Then I joined another company as the situation was so unpredictable. Then I quit again to travel. It has been a long journey with lots of emotional stress.
Don't worry hang in there.Your time will come.

Please ask me if you have any doubts I will be happy to help if I can.
Hi can we take international connection flight or direct flight only if we travel with expired COPR. There is no direct flight from Bangalore so planning to take emirates with Dubai connection is it ok. Any issues in Dubai with expired COPR visa ? Kindly share your experience please. Thanks

Copr was issued November 2020 I got travel exemption letter. Landed on 2 feb 2021 officer didn’t ask me much i just gave him my Copr letter he asked me to wait on side after around half an hour he called me and ask me to signatures on Copr and address for Pr card nothing else.. but before baggage claim there was border force officers who asked me why I come to Canada they checked my passport, COVID 19, travel exemption, I showed them Copr letter as well. It was all went easy
Can I please check how and what reason you can achieve the travel exemption letter?

Dear All,

Finally arrived in Canada. Sharing the experience. Got my AL in late Dec. I flew with Qatar Airways and the flight from Doha to Montreal was full. Immigration was smooth. They diddnt asked me for proof of funds, or a quarantine plan. The whole process took around 15 minutes. Just asked me if I had a place to quarantine and that I'll have to spend 14days in quarantine and can't leave the place except in case of emergency.
Hey did u fly from India via doha?

My COPR was approved before March, 2020. COPR's approved before March, 2020 are exempt from travel. If you have valid documents you can travel. But if you have expired documents, then you need to reach out IRCC and get your documents updated along with an Authorization letter to travel.

If youre approved after March, 2020 then reach out to IRCC and ask only for Authorization letter. Show them your quarantine plan, settlement plan and travel plan.

Hey everyone, I was hoping someone could help answer this:

My wife, who lives overseas, got her COPR. But she can't come to Canada to settle permanently just yet. From the IRCC site, it says you should only come to Canada if you plan to stay permanently. Does that mean I should just wait for IRCC to contact us now? Even if our COPR will expire waiting for them? I contacted them through the webform, but they just told me to look at their website for info.

From the looks of this thread, there are quite lot of confused people like me

Dear Bro I got AL for my family today I need some suggestion from you. They are planning to fly from Bangalore is it a good idea to take a connecting flight Frankfurt Germany or take a direct flight to Toronto from Indian airports? Kindly help me out . Thanks in advance.
Take a direct flight if you have an option to book it.
