I called VFS just now and was initially told my passport was still in transit. I said it cannot be in transit for this long. Then the customer care rep said oh wait!, your passport just arrived right now  so she then sent the courier consent form to me. Jeez, just want to receive my passport and then relax a bit. Hopefully UPS would deliver it on time.
If you dont mind, please when did you get your counterfoil update??

I've decided to book a remedical since my existing medical has expired and there's no extension in sight.
I read a few accounts on nairaland from applicants who went proactive and did a remed without being asked to after theirs expired in November 2020. One of them got PPR just last week. In as much as not every testimony we read is true, I feel like there's no harm in trying.
However, I'd like to know if anybody in this forum has done same. What was the outcome? What do you all advice?

This silence from Accra (and IRCC in general) is killing me. I'm January 2020 AOR. Med expired December 19th 2020.
Your medicals may have been extended. I'm not saying this is the case, but it's possible. You can only know for certain by ordering your note or calling.

My meds will expire on 15 Feb. I have since booked a remeds for 17 Feb. If my meds gets extended that's fine (usually for 6 month). But if it doesn't, then I'll be certain that my medical is valid for a year.

Seriously, waiting and not being able to do anything is frustrating. At least getting my remeds makes me feel better.

I haven't been able to reach them via phone - not even the dingtone or any other app has been of help (as I'm an outland applicant). They haven't been responding to any of my emails or web form Enquiry either...since September 2020. The last communication I had was when I was asked for updated schedule 4 form (for PNPs) in November which has long been acknowledged.

I want to order GCMS notes, but it'll probably take more than a month to get the notes. That's why I am considering a remed while I await the notes.
I'm so confused.

Did you send Hong-Kong an email earlier? I mean, was the email a reply to your earlier email?

What was the ADR?

How did you know your secondary VO is HK?

I heard files were transfered from AVO to HKVO, I'm not sure if mine was among those transfered.

Congratulations. Your PPR is close.

When was your AOR? Are you PNP or FSW?

I think remed is a good decision, because the 6 months extension is not enough to get your passport stamped even after Approval

Congratulations. Guess you will be getting PPR soon.

A lot of AVO files are being routed to Hong Kong. I got a response from them this morning that my file is "under review/Queue for review". The confusion now is what review is it? Eligibility? ADR? Final Review?

BTW, can anyone help with a link to join the Accra VO WhatApp group.

Thanks.
