Hello folks, I ordered GCMS and noticed that my note number 3 in August says:

"Pending outstanding PC -------Document set for review-------Client information -Contains PC"

and in September note 1 says: PReVU verified. Any idea what does that mean?

Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone could clarify the question below regarding express entry eligibility.

My consultant told me that you are can't get PR via express entry with a score less than 6 on each band even if your score is high in other factors such as education, experience etc without a score of 6 on each band your are pretty much wasting your time and cant get in the pool.

fast forward few days ago I created an express entry profile with ielts score of (S7, W 5.5, L 6, R 4.5) overall score of 6. and it says I met the requirement under Canadian experience class given that i have canadian work experience, education and i was awarded a score of 361 in the pool.
My 1 year continuous work experience is in NOC B

now my question is if i get an LMIA in NOC 0 from my current employer would I get an invitation? or will the low score from the english proficiency be a problem down the road like my consultant said?

Thanks in advance

  • describe the test results in your Express Entry profile

Your consultant is correct, not sure why the system is showing you that you're eligible, although to be honest i also thought there was no requirement except for having a year of Canadian work experience to apply as a CEC candidate.

But the criteria seems pretty clear, just re-take the IELTS and get what you need.

Oh okay, i assumed it was in a NOC 0 occupation because you said might get a job offer with that category.

It should be fine, but your primary NOC should match that of your job offer.

a job offer gives you 50 additional points which brings your total score to 411, which is again very low. You do qualify for the program, your profile will be valid as long as you have valid IELTS and LMIA job offer, but you will not receive an invitation. Please try to improve IELTS, it will drastically improve your score.

Your issue is that even with an LMIA, your points will still be far too low to be selected through CEC. You should focus on substantially improving your IELTS test results. Right now you're throwing points away by having such a low score.

My employer is willing to get me lmia for NOC 0 which will increase my score by 200 points. do you think they will accept it given that my 1 year continuous work experience is in noc B

A NOC 0 job offer will only get you 50 points.

Oh really? i thought noc 0 gets you 200 points since its higher skilled job. anyways thanks for letting me know i will look into it more
That's incorrect. NOC 00 job offers get you 200 points. NOC 0 job offers are only 50 points. See this directly on the IRCC web site.

NOC 00 occupations are very senior:

Hello all. My AOR was May 2019 and I'm still awaiting a decision almost 20 months later. I ordered for gcms notes and there was basically nothing. Nothing was done on the file aside the initial evaluation which was May 2019 and my medicals was evaluated in June 2019 as passed and I was requested to provide biometrics and there was nothing since then. I ordered my second set of gcms notes and interestingly it was the same notes as the first that was sent to me eventhough I requested for it 3 months later.
I ordered the 3rd set of gcms notes and discovered the officer just put my eligibility under review. All the while my eligibility said, "we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements". What I really don't understand is why is the officer just putting the eligibility under review after the application was 19 months old and a decision was never made on the eligibility from the beginning? Does this mean the application will be subjected to further delays eventhough its 20 months already? The only reason for the review seems to be a year and I was asked to provide personal history for that year. I had explained what I was doing that year in my personal history and also in the schedule A form. I am just confused really.

Hi,
CEC inland applicant
AOR-June 27 2020
Medical Passed-Aug 18
Biometric completed-Nov 04
no ghost update or email
applied GCMS notes in November and got GCMS notes on December 11
Canadian experience 1 year(NOC-1215)
foreign experience 1 year (NOC-1221)

my question is that,
my eligibility status showing "review required".
Notes says that

"PA is performing duties under NOC outside 1221; Reminder of duties appear suited to 1241. Letter confirms salary of CAD$2848/year- Letter confirms full/time employment; CEC Work: 1 year CRS Foreign Work: 0 years(s) 0 month(s) of 1 year(s)- REVIEW REQUIRED CRS CANADIAN WORK: 1 year(s)"

I accidently submitted the file with wrong NOC code for foreign work experience. I submitted 1221 instead of 1241.
Should I submit a webform explaining this to CIC or should I wait?
any idea how much time it would take to get the final decision?
any suggestions what to do next?
