Earlier this year, during the pandemic, I thought about doing my upfront medicals in the U.S. through the US-Mexico land border.
I appeared at a port of entry, and asked the officer If this would fall under the essential traveler exemption, due to the medical attention aspect of it. After explaining my situation, due to there being a 90 day period where medicals can be submitted, he didn't deem it as urgent enough and told me he thought it would be better if I got them done once border restrictions were a bit more relaxed. He sent me back on my way home, without a passport stamp, slip or anything similar. I then got my upfront medicals done elsewhere.
Earlier today, after receiving my AOR I was reflecting on my application and remembered the statutory question:
a) Have you ever been refused admission to, or ordered to leave, Canada or any other country?
I previously answered "no". Do you guys think I should disclose this event in a webform or wait and see if an officer asks me about this?
