timeline and status update for 2-Way passport request from IRCC and process time from VFS , Applicants from India

Hi guys, I am starting this thread as lots of people are looking for information regarding 2-way passport request information for visa stamping in India. Please share your experience here.

I guess it depend on case to case bases. 1 person got within a week that i know and i also read comment somewhere that person get 2-way passport e-mail on same day. The problem is, struggle continues even after receiving 2-way passport submission e-mail. After, the 2-way passport submission e-mail applicant is supposed to contact vfs for further pickup related information which i know someone is waiting from a week. So its still hard to determine how long will it take to get visa stamped.

Further, VFS contact number is( 02268539025 ) and I got this from a kind man to submit passport. Note : Courier pickup can be only confirmed once you have "2-way passport" submission email from IRCC. If you have received the email you can contact VFS number for courier pick.

May I know after how many days of receiving biometrics correspondence letter ( validity letter), u got PPR? Was it a trv?

Again depends on case to case these days. These are 2 examples during Covid :- 1. someone got refusal after 3 months of biometric correspondence letter 2. On the other hand someone who has refusal once and then applied again got PPR within 2 months of applying and now waiting for passport stamp after submission. These both examples are for spouse TRV and from India.

Hello I have received the 2 way courier instructions email. Should I email vsf to ask for the next step? Any idea please advise?
