Hello, received GCMS notes today but I didn't know which section is the useful part. I saw these lines below that I thought quite useful. But other than that, anything else I should pay attention to in the note?

================
Assessments:
Eligibility: Not Started
Security: Not Started
================

Thanks!
These assessments notes are important to understand the status of your application. It looks like they haven't yet assessed eligibility requirements for applicants. Security and Criminality verification are performed concurrently and per applicant. If you have provided police reports cic will perform these without delay. One way to find if the applicants met eligibility requirements is by receiving Pre-Arrival services letter.

Can someone pls help with below question?
My parents are here with me on super visa-
Their super visa expires in March and their entry seal has 14 Mar 2021 as the stamped date.
I got a request from CIC asking their current address and their projected periodof stay! What should I write?? Since we will be applying for super visa extension!!
Pls help!!
You don't need to worry about anything, Your parents have a valid status till 14 Mar 2021, and tell them you will apply for renewal before this date and mentioned they will be staying in Canada until the process for PR gets completed.

Are you in tracker? It's interesting that they sent PCC request in DM1 email. Which LVO?
Hi I am not in the tracker.

What information do you need from my end ?

Yeah the SA letter has the bunch of documentation for us to submit ( Travel IMM5562, PCC, CV of my parents )

I have yet to receive the Bio Metric request though so not sure when that's gonna come.

Actually my parents were here in Canada , when I applied for their PR and now they are back in India.

My LVO is Mississauga as my parents were here in Canada.

Parent sponsorship is not included in the family reunification push. That is for spouses and dependent children. Those applications will also still face delays but there is a push to try to limit the delays versus keep adding more delays. Most will still wait over a year to get approved. Your mother has the ability to visit Canada or apply for a supervisa while she waits for her PGP application to be processed. The estimated processing time is 18-24 months (I believe) so your application hasn’t exceeded the processing time. Parent sponsorship is not a priority since it is in general a cost to the taxpayer and there are other options like a supervisa. Most Canadian employees returned to Canada due to covid In India and the health system being overwhelmed in the country which is why they are only able to process emergencies.
Because you don't like it, it doesn't mean that PGP is cost to taxpayers. How do you make this assumption? We have so many other programs that are cost to taxpayers. Its not only PGP. 10 years of sponsorship agreement is not a cost to taxpayers.

Hello everyone,
Can you please help me. I am trying to send the IRCC enquiry form with pre passed medical exam.
When I choose the option (type of application) : sponsorship
it gives me only 2 options:
Sponsorship spouse inside Canada
Sponsorship spouse, parents/grandparents outside Canada'

But my mom is in Canada and doing sponsorship from here

Is there any way to send this medical?

Give them the exact status .
For example:
1. Yes they are in Canada. They are staying with me at (address)
2. Their current stay is till 14 March 2021 but we intend to apply for an extension of their stay

Free medical is a direct cost to taxpayers. Please do not underestimate the privilege given by Canadian Government for us to sponsor our parents.

Hi Everyone, May 29th 2019 applicant here. I received letter requesting passport yesterday. Even though the VO is CPC-M, the letter was issued by CPC-HONG KONG. In the request letter, it mentioned:

" Your Permanent Resident document(s) will expire one year after the date of your medical
examinations or earlier if your passport or the passports of your spouse or dependent children (if applicable) expire on an earlier date. You must travel to Canada and present your immigration documents at a Canadian Port of Entry before they expire. The validity of the Permanent Resident documents cannot be extended."

My parents did their medical in November 16th 2019. It is (almost) impossible to send them the passports, get them back and land in Canada before the one year deadline. Anyone else faced similar issues?
