Received a phone call from a private number at 9 this morning. They asked us to confirm that we were currently in Canada and said our application was complete and we'd receive PR confirmation letter within the hour and we did! Our application is now complete online we just need to send pics for the card.
The letter was emailed from CIC-QUE-Pre-Landing@cic.gc.ca

"This letter constitutes an official document issued by the Department of Immigration, Refugees
and Citizenship Canada. You can provide a copy of this letter to prove that you are a
permanent resident of Canada and to apply for government benefits and services for which you
are eligible, until you receive your permanent resident card.
We realize that you may not be able to send this photo right now due to the Government of
Canada’s order to stay home during the COVID-19 situation. Please send this photo to us when
it will be possible as per your provincial and/or local authorities’ guidelines. In the meantime,
this letter will serve as proof of your permanent resident status in Canada. You can use this
letter for one year and it must be accompanied by a travel document or a
federal/provincial/territorial identity document. The permanent resident card is required after this
one-year period.

Looks like things are progressing! Good luck everyone! Here is our timeline again:
AOR: September
Med update: October
Passport copies sent after PPR confirmed delivery on March 23rd
June 30: Currently in Canada verification call and PR letter received
US Citizens, Moved to Canada on WP. Applied under CEC inland

Inland applicant. PPR request received early March. Passport sent to Ottawa early in March. Delivered to Ottawa March 13 or so.
The return tracker never activated. The online system never updated. I raised the web form once and received a general response that 'the application is still in process', it was in May or so.

Yesterday, I received a call from an immigration officer to confirm if I'm still living in Canada and my home address. The conversation was quick.
After the call, COPR email was sent to me ' Congratulations! You are now a permanent resident of Canada!' with the official document attached etc, and the request to send the photos again to get the final original PR printed. In the meantime, the letter attached is to be used inside Canada as my permanent residence status confirmation.

WAITED over 3 months after PPR with silence. Looks like thing are moving but slowly. GOOD LUCK to you all!

I have submitted my passports on June 20th and received an email today from IRCC saying they mailed passports. When I check the account, the status says approved and counterfoil document is valid until 2020/09/04. Does any one know what it means?

I am in the exact same boat. I freaked out when they said they didn't have my package. Then when I sent the confirmation they said they did have the passports (instead of copies that I sent). It seems like they are not even trying to process people with passport copies sent at this time and don't care overall.
Weird that it's the exact same situation!

I just don't know what their problem is.

That's good news! Are you located in Canada?

Any outland applicants still waiting for their passports (original)? Mine was delivered on March 18th and no progress so far.
