It's my wife (Sponsor) who resides in Canada that received 1. Acknowledgement of receipt 2. Sponsor's eligibility approval and also that the application has been sent to visa office accra
Your spouse has to be approved before a letter for your biometrics is sent. It seems in your case that a letter was sent before your spouse was approved. If she never received the letter, she can send an email to IRCC and let them know and ask them to send it again.
I had that issue with my husband first application. IRCC said they sent a letter and I never got it. They didn't want to send me the copy of the letter. I had to go through my MP office to get it.

Hi everyone. I got approved to sponsor my nigerian husband and the application was sent out to Acrra. I need to create a gckey account so we can upload documents if needed or even check the status of our application but im wondering does my husband create this in his own name since it is him now applying for PR or do i create this somehow in my own name. It seems sensible for him to create it on the CIC website because its now his own application for PR. Those of you who have done this...does the sponsor create a gckey account or the spouse who is the actual applicant for permanent residence in canada. Im thoroughly confused. Please help
Hello, late reply.
I am sponsoring my husband to Canada. I created his GCkey account. You can do it for him or he can do it for himself. But it has to be under his name; once he links his file to his account, he will receive all updates on this account. It is really important to link it to his account. You can have access to it also if you have his username and password.

Thank you so much for all this info. I wish I found it before applying the first time to sponsor my husband. He is Togolese, so his files are treated in Accra. IRCC received the document on November 22nd 2018; the expected completion date was November 22nd 2019. I was approved as to sponsor him on July 2019 and the file got transferred to Accra. Things went pretty quick form there, in August he was requested and did his medical. In October he was requested to and did his biometrics. That's when things got stuck. In November we emailed Accra because we were not seeing any update on his page. We found out that they lost or never received his biometrics. He did it again and they received it November 27th. Since that date, there is no more update on his file. We emailed them couple of times, but were told that his files are in queue to be reviewed. Can we do anything at this point? Will hiring a lawyer help the process move along?
Thank you.
Order for GCMS NOTES.

Good day everyone.
Please i intend to do my study visa reapplication via paper application to Canada Embassy at Ghana from Nigeria.
So, i just want to if they've started or resumed attending to applicants. And whether there's a time frame for reapplication.. Thanks

As at this Wednesday i passed there last, nothing was happening there. But read somewhere that paper applications won't be possible at VFS till may 19.

In my own case, my wife acted as my representative, so the biometrics letter was sent to her email i think a day after her sponsorship approval, she also received the email when my application was moved to accra. I linked my application online after it was moved to accra, from then every other correspondence was sent to my online account (medicals, pre-arrival letter and passport request) and each time i get an email telling me that i have a message in my online account. The biometric and PR fee was all paid b4 submission, so i didnt have to pay anything for biometrics, u wld only have to book an appointment with vfs for the biometrics. There's VFS in lekki, Lagos and in Abuja too. Hope this helps
Hello there, thank you for all the information, they have been very helpful. Thank God, I would have been waiting endlessly. For the last two weeks, i have been contacting CIC to resend the February 11, 2020 letter. They only just emailed it to me today and guess what... it is the biometric instruction letter... it was dated February 11, 2020 and it it valid till March 13, 2020... but I've only received it today through email after putting a lot of request across to them. Please advise. What do I do now? Is the Visa Application Centre in Lekki open for work also?

Due to covid-19, applicants are given 90 days instead of the normal 30 days to enroll their biometrics, and the 90 days should be counted from the date on the letter. So i don't know if u would need to raise a web form regarding this as clearly its pass 90 days from the date on the letter. As for VfS i don't think they are open yet, but might check b4 Friday...I stay around

Thank you bro. Please I will count on you for information about the VAC opening as I live miles away from Lekki.

Hello please I have a question to ask and I believe you can help me with it.

I reside in the UAE and my wife is a Canadian citizen.
We have already submitted our application on the May 1,2020 but haven't received AOR yet.

During the submission, we submitted police clearance certificate from just the UAE and didn't added the Ghana police clearance certificate..

So later I figured that we were supposed to add that to it as well but we had already submitted.

Guys please do you think my application will be rejected and send back to us or they may request for it later on.??

Thanks
