For me, I am struggling to motivate myself at the moment. I was on 473 in March; I have gotten all that I needed to get with the hope that I was getting drawn in the next round of draws then Coronavirus happened and everything went to halt. I lost 5points some weeks back so I went from a guaranteed ITA to hoping that the score plummets. It’s sickening, there’s absolutely nothing that can motivate me right now (unless of course, they resume general draws ASAP).
With local economies opening up, travel restrictions gradually being lifted, flights resuming, etc. I am hopeful the FSW draws will resume very soon. Let's wait and see.

Honestly, the travel restrictions won't have much impact on you guys.

I asked for an extension for my landing and they said you have an exemption, so you can travel.

So i landed in the middle of the pandemic, the airlines were more worried than immigration lol.

Yeah, and also if we get drawn now, there are many months of processing that have to pass before we're even able to think about getting on a plane. At minimum 6 months, according to IRCC. Perhaps many more. So, receiving an ITA in a general draw now would at least allow us to get started on the path. And I have all my official documents ready to upload.

I don’t expect anything that we haven’t witnessed. Anything above 470s is extremely difficult to achieve with the way the system was formulated. So whoever can get to 473 and above would be safe as far as EE is concerned. It’s extremely difficult to see anyone with a Masters degree, 3 years of work experience and still under 30years of age. There are some but if they breakdown the pool by these attributes, I bet that they would be less than 20% of the entire pool! So no fuss here, just do what you’ve got to do and stay hopeful!
Trust me. Thousands of foreign people in US are master degree + 3yr work experience + under 30 here in the US. I am one of them (joined the pool earlier this year). A lot of foreign students in the US had master degree to stay competitive in the job market. And I know a lot of my friends have been talking about moving to Canada/Europe since last year. Thats one of the reason why I am desperate cuz I know with the tightening of US immigration policy, there will be more people consider moving to Canada (which is totally understandable) while there is no sign of FSW resuming. The score will inevitably get highter.

There is plenty of time, i think IRCC are more concerned about whether FSWs can gather all their documents and submit complete applications on time given restrictions in their home countries.

I think in the short term scores will be stable around 473 but after like 6 months (if Trump wins) then scores will start increasing

Quite possibly, yeah. Have you seen any news about visa processing/application centers opening up?

I have completed 52 weeks of work experience in Canada but I would be missing around 10 hours before the next draw(this Thursday). Can i get ITA and submit all the documents during next week after completing those missing 10 hours?

I would create the Express Entry profile after you completed one year just to make sure. No point in creating one and having to decline the ITA or ending up with your PR application rejected.

Operation Manual:

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/express-entry/assessing-electronic-application-on-section-a11-2.html

"Ministerial Instructions created under the authority of section A10.3(1)(e) list the MEC for Express Entry. Applicants must meet the MEC to be accepted into the Express Entry pool and must also meet the MEC when they are issued an ITA and when they submit their e-APR. "

Better safe than sorry

Its like on you if you want to take a chance or not.

@Karanbir29 According to the law you have to complete the 1 year on the date you get ITA and on the date you submit the PR Appl.

You will read in other places accounts of people getting in and some getting refused. Its on you now.
