Hi all,

How many of you guys have an app returned and why?

I go first:
My was held unprocessed because some very stupid reason. They didnt returned it but they wanted me to summitt a representative form or re-do the IMM1344 and IMM0008 just because we indicated an different mailing address than the residencial address. We sent it back a week ago and we are still waiting for answer. Plus, the web form for contact take up to 10 days (2 weeks ) to answer and on the phone is almost impossible to get answers from them.

Mine was returned back in March for two reasons:

- We received two official marriage certificates after our ceremony, one in our native tongue, and the other that is an international certificate in French, with various translations. I called the IRCC and asked if that is enough, if I need to get it translated, and they said no, the international certificate is enough. So I submitted both certificates, just to be on the safe side. When my app was returned, they wrote that they do not want the international certificate, only the one in our native tongue, accompanied by a certified translation.
- They request an additional form to be submitted for Serbian citizens (military service history), which I did not include as my husband never served in the military. Turns out they wanted the signed form with N/A written on every single line.

We lost a month because of all this. But everything has progressing fine since.

I had mine returned for my sponsors employment letter having an e signature. I lost 8 weeks.
Was chatting with an immigration attorney this week and she told me that they are bouncing applications I order to try and keep with their new timeline of 12 months for processing. If they accept an application which needs updated docs it

Hey!
I was wondering if the employment letter has to be hand signed by the employer??? My wife’s letter, they send her through email and we just printed it off. Would that work?:)

I submitted my app last year Aug and had returned in Oct for a missing PCC I was not required to submit . Turns out Officer doing the intake made mistake. I got AOR in Nov . Wasted lots of time because of that
Oh I may have similar problem as well but am not sure yet. I submitted my application with one PCC instead of two(2) because I have resided In two different countries. I mistakenly submitted just my current country PCC because I didn’t know. Maybe they may return it as well . I submitted it on the 1st May 2020 i haven’t heard from them yet.
