Unable to notarize colleagues employment reference letter due to lockdown

Hi all,

I am finding it difficult to get my colleague letter notarized as there is a lockdown imposed in India and no services of notary available (all are temporarily closed). my application deadline is June 2nd. What are my best options. Please advise. Waiting for your response.

Find some lawyer who is also holder of notary public license. Go to his house and get your docs notarized. It will work most probably.

You don't have to notarize your colleague's reference letter. I never did and I got my PR. I just asked him to write a reference letter through his official email address, then took a copy of it and submitted it.
