Hi everybody,

My wife and I applied through express entry inland in June 2018, myself being the primary applicant. GCMS notes stated only that my case was transferred to Edmonton in July 2018 due to work load distribution. In August 2019 received a letter requiring FBI clearance, since I stayed in the US for more than 6 months.

Since then I went to the MP office twice, they contacted the immigration several times and got the same answer we all get, we are processing the case, wait. Although my case was transferred to Vancouver this time around. In 18 months I only received one request letter for FBI clearance, nothing since then.

Meanwhile ordered new notes. Called the call center where the officer was quite surprised to see a case with 18 months waiting time, he mentioned that the application was complete and nothing was missing.

Initially I wasn't worried since some cases take longer, 10, 14 months. 18 months seems to be something out of the ordinary, I also lived in Calgary, Montreal and Toronto, might this be the reason?

What do your GCMS notes say?

Are you in security screening? SS cases can take 18 months or more (22 months is also normal).

Officer listed submitted information. It says nothing about security screening. Pending outstanding PC and Stat questions (July 2108)
Requested FBI certificate 1 year later same time notes were received,
Review required is blanked, ordered once again people on this forum saying they are getting new notes not blanked.

Is the security section blank? Look up on the forum what security screening in GCMS notes looks like or order CBSA notes for more detailed information regarding your SS.

Maybe you are in security screening, I am not sure but match your GCMS notes to other people on this forum who have had security screening to see if your blank sections indicate security screening.

I understand where you are coming from . I applied July 2018 although I confirmed today that it has been approved on January 7th, 2020. My file was in Edmonton IRCC and just transferred to Winnipeg IRCC. Go through your most recent GCMS and make sure there are no concerns. My eligibility was recommended pass by the case analyst in September 2018 but noted he could not verify my employer via web search. I didn't do anything since it wasn't RR. Fast forward to October 2019, it was changed to RR after I got a ghost update and called CIC. I proactively submitted documents to show that the company exists. My file was never touched by the VO assigned to it from July 2018 till December 17th 2019. He passed all the stages and requested for a new medical from me. I was not in SS or anything. I am currently waiting for landing interview date from Vancouver office as advised by the Winnipeg office this morning.

My MP was following up every month and I was calling every 2 months and raising CSE once a month. No impact from the MP though

Hi GCMS Notes the same thing " Pending outstanding PC and Stat questions" for my spouse, yet my eligibility says recommended pass. They have requested the RCMP police certificate and we submitted it, but still unsure about the Stat Question, can you tell me anything about that. We are 7 months and waiting

You'resaying somehow they forgot about you? In my case I didn't worry, cause in July 2019 MP told me eligibility was passed and security was the only thing left. Right after received the criminality request from US. Last time she called officer said eligibility needs a review and security not started. Ordered new note hoping they're not blanked, that way I get an idea.

Receives a letter request for Sponsored Spouse/Partner Questionnaire (IMM5490) and medical, the thing is me and my spouse dont live together anymore for about a year, therefore some questions are complicated and its going to be hard to convince the officer everything is legit, we're not divorced but not together anymore, speaking to my lawyer tomorrow. Dont know how to proceed.
