Hello guys..
I want to begin by appreciating all the admin of this forum. Your assistance has really been helpful.

However, I have a doctor friend. She is now a Canadian Permanent Resident (PR). She wants to invite her fiancee (hope to marry him soon) to Canada on TRV for two weeks (14 days). Her fiancee reside in Nigeria and he is also a medical doctor, presently working in a private hospital and have upto 12,000 CAD in his bank statement.
The actual plan is to get her fiancee a TRV , on arrival they will do a court wedding in Canada and she will sponsor him (Spoua sponsorship inland for PR)

What are the chances of her fiancee getting the TRV?

In her invitation letter, can she truthfully indicate that they will marry in Canada?

Sincere answers will be appreciated.

Thanks

FYI : Applications from Nigeria are carefully scrutinized due to the fact some Nationals violated immigration laws by either over staying or going to Canada to give birth.

He has a chance as long as he can prove to the visa officer that his purpose to visit Canada is valid, he has strong ties to go back to Nigeria (work, family, assets and properties) and he is financially capable to travel (have money to finance the trip).
In her invitation letter, can she truthfully indicate that they will marry in Canada?
NO. The TRV most likely will be rejected if you do this.
