Hey,
I just received my CoPR and was told to get my Passport stamped, but the issue that I am facing is that my Medical Expiration dates are very near (1st April,2020) and it will take them approximately 4 weeks to get my Passport ready, which in turn leads to bringing my Medical Expiry Dates near. As I have a personal matter and cannot go to Canada within the expiry date specified will i be able to extend this date?. If not, will they extend the Visa Expiry themselves to accommodate for the close expiry time?.
And, What is the usual Expiry time given on the Visa issued?. As I read that some people got a minimum of 6 months, will this be the same in my case?. Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks in Advance!

Normally, unless IRCC have made an internal error or the COPR expiry date is ridiculous (a few days remaining), they will NOT extend the COPR validity. April is over two months away... The amount of time to expiry is different in every case, and there is no published minimum.

You can't have already received your COPR and still need your passport stamped. If you require a TRV, the passport is requested prior to the COPR being issued and then stamped and sent back with the COPR.

Are you visa-exempt?

No, I am not a Visa-Exempt by CoPR was I referring to getting a e-mail which listed instructions to get my Passport Stamped. Moreover, the fact I am genuinely worried about is that is there any chance that I get a Expiration date close to June as it is not possible for me to go in the months of April and May.

That is not a COPR.

IRCC pretty much never extends COPRs, so it is quite possible that you will have to do a soft landing prior to expiry.
