Thanks for the response ! one more concern is the application is slightly confusing, in this regard the principal applicant is me who is sponsoring or my baby who is minor ? and what about the signature , i can be the co-signer ?

You are the Sponsor and the baby is the Principal Applicant. A parent (either) will act for the child and no co-signer is required for the sponsorship.

For the person being sponsored (principal applicant) - In all these forms , the full and give name will be my baby's name right ? and there is question the relation the principal applicant which is child or father ?

No.The current situation is like me and my first kid is in Canada and my wife is with my new born baby in India, She wont be able to join us until the baby gets the PR. So I am sponsoring my new born baby sitting here and without any co-signer ( my spouse) . Is that the right way to do ?

Yes but you must be compliant with your RO to sponsor. It is pretty unusual for one child to remain with the husband if your wife didn’t want to give birth in Canada. Are you working and the child going to school and/or childcare? You must also show you can support your family that is why I am asking.

Hi Sukesh, I am in the same boat as you are, however, my elder child is with my wife and the newborn in India only.
I have not applied yet, as I am currently in India, will apply after coming back to Canada.
