Hi,

I sent my Inland PR application in December but I am more concerned about the OWP application as my wife's status is ending soon.

Is there a way to find out the status of the OWP? If its been accepted for review..or is there a problem with it in case I need to apply again.

It takes about 4 months to get approved. Your wife has status right now, however if the application is returned for whatever reason and her visa has expired, she will need to restore status then reapply. I suggest requesting an extension to cover your bases

you can try checking gckey by linking it or call ircc call centre though its only been a month...

I looked at the process and they say I need to create an account / sign in and apply online but when I sign in, the only options to start a new application are for (1) Apply to come to Canada, (2) Refugees, (3)Citizenship or (4)Students

Where do I go for applying for an extension?

I did option 1. It asks for the reason to come to canada, length of stay, current status, etc and in the end it says you need to apply under Spousal PR and apply on paper. then returns to the home page.
You are answering the questions wrong. You need to answer as a visitor, not as a PR applicant. Visit, temporarily 6 months or less.
