I sent out my application on 1st April and still havent got letter for test yet. Is this normal? Shall I call CIC? What number shall I call?

The number to call is 1-888-242-2100.

Have your Application Number or UCI available when you speak to the agent, they will ask for your date of birth and your country of birth as security questions.

I would not worry if you applied in April and the processing time is 12 months then you still have 4 months left.

Did you receive your AOR and have you checked the process on line?

Omg, i just checked my online status. i have been waiting for email or mail and didnt check online status for 2 months. It says the following:
"We sent you a notice on December 4, 2019 to appear and write the citizenship test on December 3, 2019 at 1:31 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us."

I didn't receive any email or mail. Also, how is it possible they sent me a notice on December 4, 2019 to write the citizenship test on December 3 2019. This is really weird. I didn't receive the Discover Canda book which they said they sent out in June 2019. I checked my mailing address online, it is correct.

I just sent a case specific enquiry today. Seriously worried. If I missed my citizenship test, will my application be cancelled?

Does CIC has a help line I can call? I only find the web enquiry online form. Let me check the website again.

Applied on April 21 still no test for me. I don’t think it’s worth calling them as they are going to point to the 12 month processing period. Should I be calling them?

Just called CIC and they told me it was an administration error on their end. They will send out a new test date soon. When I asked when, they quote 12 month timeline and didn't give me specific date.
