Hello,

Wish a good day!

I have an EE profile in CIC with accompanying my spouse. Now I want to change my EE profile Accompanying Spouse to Non-Accompanying Spouse. So, where do I need to make a change in my EE profile? And will I have to give a reason right now while I will make change Or reason will be asked later during the application?

Thank you.
You can change your information in your EE profile anytime before you receive an ITA - no questions asked.

Hi, I am applying for Canada PR through Express Entry. There is 3 months gap & salary drop between my 2nd job & 3rd job (Current job) due to a medical emergency in the family. Do I need to provide any kind of Letter Of Explanation for gaps & salary drop?
  • JOB 1 (1.5yrs)

    -----1 Month Gap------

  • JOB 2 (8 months) Salary : 50K

    ------3 Months Gap------

  • JOB 3 Salary : 20K CURRENT JOB
Absolutely not.

They don't care how much you earned or the gap because in this specific case, your first job was continuous for a period greater than 12 months and I am also assuming the responsibilities of that job fall under NOC 0,A or B.

Since you have at least one job that was continuous, paid and at least 12 months long, you are good to add job 2 and job 3 as long as they were paid and the responsibilities of these jobs fall under NOC 0,A or B.

Hi guys,
I am going to start education in Canada from January, but with my previous credentials I am eligible for EE.
So the Question is now that I'm making my profile should I mention that I'm studying here? Because in Education section I thought I should only talk about a degree I've already received not sth that I'm just starting, right?

Thank you

Hello Everyone,

Currently, I am working as a Manager in a travel agent, I would like to apply for express entry and PNP, I am not sure about my NOC code, before I have seen my designation in the samples given in CIC website under NOC code 0621( Retail Manager) in 2011 version, but in 2016 version the designation is not there anymore. still, will it be 0621 or something else?
Which NOC can I select for my profile?

Thank You

Hi guys, I have a query regarding boosting my CRS. I have two separate job experiences, one is 4031-Secondary school teachers-A ,with 3 year experience, and the second is 6221-Technical sales specialists - wholesale trade-B, with 6 year experience. Both experiences I gained during the last 10 years. I want to know if I can gain extra ponts if I write the two NOCs in my express entry profile.

Hi All,

I have a question. While filling up the work history in express entry profile. It asks for start and end date in Month and Year only. If we have experience as 2 years 11 months and 10 days. This will be considered as 3 years?

ex Start date : 25 August 2015
End date. : 8 August 2018

EE will consider it as 3 years experience. and If yes, This should not cause any issues with points claim as it is automatically calculated by system.

Can anyone help me with this?

Dear Experts,

PCC from my home country includes only years i.e. 1997 to 2012, and in March 2012, I moved to another country and living since then. So if only years mentions in the PCC, willl it be okay or the month should be included as well, such as March 1997 to Feb 2012, or perhaps full dates?

Please advise.

Hello everyone,

I have a huge question regarding Police Certificate (PC). I am in Canada since November, 2019 as student. I was also here only in May and June as a visitor. I got my PC in August from my home country. So, now that I got my Invitation do you think my previous PC is not acceptable? I should get another one? because it is a super hard process from here and it'll take a lot of time. I really don't know what should I do right now.

Immensely appreciate your help.

Hi Guys,

I have a basic question here. I have already created my EE profile. Now, if a PNP draw happens (say OINP / SINP / PEI) and I get the NOI from one / many of them, the if I don't accept it / respond to it, will I still be eligible for regular EE draws? Or if I get NOI, then it means that I won't get ITA basis regular EE draws, even if I am above the cut off? How does it exactly work?

Received ITA, When I submit my application and it asks me to pay Application FEE and RPRF (Right of Permanent Residence), should we opt for both. Secondly, I have Offer and Relieving letters of all my previous employers, will they suffice or should I still need Reference letters from previous employers.

Your choice on fee but most people pay RPRF at the time of submission.

Also, offer letters and relieving letters don't mean much. You need reference letter which has all the details prescribed by IRCC. Whether you need for previous employers depends on whether you are claiming points for employment with previous employers.
