I have also heard that in some cases, the fee was requested even before eligibility and criminality were passed, so once again there is no fixed trend in this matter.
You hit the nail on the head. All my plans for the next 1-2 years have to be suspended and there are only a few things I can do in this wait period. The most frustrating thing about this whole process is the lack of certainty and the lack of a clear due date. If they can tell me the end date of SS, even if it is a remote date, I can still feel kind of reassured as I know when to expect a result, but now it is a different story as my PPR can be anytime from tomorrow to what knows when.
The wait is torture! I agree that if you could even get the slightest clue as to when or how things will progress, it'll be a lot better.

Funny story; I had a nightmare last night about getting PFL! Hahah! Of course I woke up relieved, but still didn't stop me from checking my account immediately  Clearly we are overthinking.

yeah, Totally with you guys @quelash13 and @baltzly.

I had some visa issues in my previous country of residence and I ran out of time and had to move. I don't want to "settle" anywhere new as it can change many things. I'm living apart from my partner of 4 years because of these complications, and we are waiting for this to complete so we can re-unite and move to Toronto.

Pretty much all aspects on my life are on hold at the moment!

But I'm trying to stay positive - I've got the opportunity to keep my job and have a paycheck, I'm reading, pursuing some small hobbies and keeping connected with my loved ones even though I can't see them. It's all about counting your blessings and staying positive. :):)

A positive mindset helps for sure, I too am keeping myself occupied with other things so I don't get too caught up with the anxiousness of waiting for an update. When is your AOR? Hope we will all get some good news soon.

THANK YOU! :) Did you have any updates on yours? if your vo is edmonton cpc as well not gonna be delayed most likely :) keep me updated :D
No updates. My husband and I agreed to call IRCC after Christmas. He is much more relaxed than I am. He believes that if we call right now, and it says there they are reviewing something (i.e.: eligibility), I'll probably overthink and get extra anxious (more than I am right now).
He is very positive that our process is OK and it is just a matter of time. Once we call, I will know which VO our process are at and which stage. Meanwhile, I will continue to check the e-mails and try to focus on the Holidays, kids, etc.

I totally relate to this. So many decisions to make, pending on an answer. It's been 3 years and half now since we moved to Canada and all our decisions are based on a big "If" situation. It's also scary to me to think that our future depends on someone else's decision, who we have minimum to none contact with. Well, at the end, I always try to remember how much we have accomplished so far and I stay positive that all effort will be soon rewarded.

Don't worry, everything will work out. It is just a matter of time.

Processing time trends and patterns pre-Christmas report:

If you have any feedback on this report please PM me.

If you find this status update useful please click [LIKE] - thank you in advance.

Statuses by months:
The processing time is roughly 7-10 months as of now on average.

Source: https://myimmitracker.com/en/ca/trackers/consolidated-e-apr-tracker-express-entry-permanent-residency-application/analytics/statuses-by-months-of-submission

Annual number of PPRs reported on the tracker:
*As we can see the number of PPRs reported this year has been record breaking, nearl 4500 people reported PPR.

Number of PPRs by month:
*As you can see November & December are quite slow compared to the rest of the year.

Total number of applicants per month:
*We know that about 70,000 people were invited, this year, some of them won't apply there numbers range from 10% - 20% of ITAs will not be submitted as eAPRs. Meaning that tracker has about 7%-9% of all applicants that were invited in EE draws. As time progresses this number will increase a bit.

Source: https://myimmitracker.com/en/ca/trackers/consolidated-e-apr-tracker-express-entry-permanent-residency-application/analytics/applications-submitted-by-period-2

Average by nationality:
*Usual list of countries with very long processing time.

Average processing time by Province:

Average by VO:
*Interestingly, Sydney is slower than Ottawa.

Average processing time across all streams:

Average by stream:
*Some interesting stats: Based on the myimmitracker data, in the past 3 months PNP applicants constituted 20-30% of all eAPR filings (RED on the chart). This is compared to generally 5%-9% for the past 12 months.

Applicants by Stream:
Quite a large share of PNPs here too.

Average time from AOR to IP1:

Applications from PNP applicants:
*We can see unprecedented numbers, compared to 2017 when OINP issued a lot of invites. This reflects in CRS score being in high 460s. This will come down later.

Thanks very much everyone! and enjoy your week!

Ping me with questions and good luck with you application!

I have in a similar situation. After they sent me an ADR on Sept 5, my account has been completely silent until now.
Okay, I was visited by a ghost update yesterday. Hope that means something, given that quite a few August AOR folks have already received PPRs. But then again, it may just be a mirage.

MEP 17sep and still they didn’t start my background check. I don’t know what’s going on and only they reviewing my eligibility.
CEC happens much faster than FSW-O, right? Don't really know, but I think you should come into some good luck real soon!
