Hi everyone,

Is it possible that they don’t ask for biometeics for CEC-inland applicants? We submitted a police certificate from Canada where we did digital fingerprints as well because we thought it was needed.

AOR - November 17th
MEP - December 10th

No update since then.

Thank you

Hi, we have basically the same timeline my AOR is nov 19, medical passed December 11. I don’t think you’d need a biometric, I’m pretty sure you did one before you came into Canada biometric is valid for 10 years. Check your Permanent residence profile you’d see your current biometric file.

Biometrics were not required for inland applicants until the system was established in Canada.
The system went online Dec 3, 2019 (2 weeks ago).

I'm guessing that any inland applications made before Dec 2019 do NOT need Biometrics, new applicants will receive an e-mail requesting for it.

One headache less ...

2019-2021 Immigration Levels Plan

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/news/notices/supplementary-immigration-levels-2019.html

The 2019-2021 plan renews the three-year time frame and is designed to contribute to an immigration system that strengthens the Canadian middle class through economic growth, supports diversity and helps build vibrant, dynamic and inclusive communities, while maintaining border integrity to preserve the safety and security of Canadians.

The 2019-2021 plan includes a small number of adjustments to previously-announced targets in 2019 and 2020. These adjustments are identified below. The new plan also commits to increasing admissions to 350,000 in 2021, which will be equal to nearly 1% of Canada’s population.

I got the same form.
The field for the office location was important in the pre-EE era when people were submitting paper based applications
to a specific processing center.
Nowadays, applicants hardly know where exactly your application is processed unless you directly contact IRCC and they tell you.
So, I left this field blank. If you do a bit of search you will see that some people put "Online Express Entry" or something similar.
Concerning, the contact person, it can be anyone from your family or friends. The form does not give permission to the selected individual to conduct business with IRCC on your behalf but to query the status and update your home address in case you moved to a different location.

Considering this, how can I answer 'where is your case being processed' which is a requirement for raising a webform?

NatureBoy2,

The IMM5475 can be downloaded from
https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/migration/ircc/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm5475e.pdf

You should be able to upload completed pdf from your online account.
In your PR application (online account), click on the "View submitted application or upload documents"
Carefully, scroll through the list of transmitted documents and find the link
"Authority to Release Personal Information to a Designated Individual (IMM5475)"
to upload your form.

In the pdf form there are two confusing fields
"Name of the office where the application was submitted"
"Location of office"

Unless, somehow, you know this information explicitly leave these fields blank.

As I mentioned in my previous post, other people are trying to put "something meaningful", like "Online Express Entry System".
IRCC guys are aware that most applicants have no clue of where their case being processed.
And they obviously don't want thousands of people contacting them to figure out this information.
Otherwise, it would be easily available for you in your online account.

Thank you, @Gabrielmsf . Like @pky2019 , i’m hoping this is the case and that it doesnt slow down our application. Thanks!

It is only required for inland application. If you have not already submitted RCMP PCC, IRCC will ask for one later in the process.
